On today’s show, Carmelo sits down with the star of the CW smash-hit “All American,” Daniel Ezra. Hailing from Britain, Ezra discusses how he prepared for the role of an American high school football player, first immersing himself in the culture and how seriously it is taken in America. He and Melo discuss the show and how it transcends football, bringing families together in the process. Ezra also shares his background in acting, including his theater work in his home country and some of the actors that inspire his work. They also get into Ezra’s interest in basketball, growing up playing the sport and how it helped him learn important life lessons.
