He has to protect himself and I thought Bo Nix was supposed to be the checkdown merchant. He’s by far had it the easiest out of the qbs and hasn’t had to do anything crazy at all yet. He has a run game TE and Terry. Nix doesn’t really have much of anything around him aside from Vele who didn’t play this week. No RB, No TE, No WR.

@@maskcollector6949 Bo Nix IS a checkdown merchant. he didnt throw it deep in game 1 and only did in game 2 after denver got down 13-0

yeah Jayden is performing very well for us, even though in my opinion in some cases he's playing it super safe. I think over time, he'll gain more confidence and let it fly a little bit more. but as our rookie qb i'd rather him play it safe rather than trying to be a gunslinger all the time like Caleb or Bo and end up giving the ball away. Jayden's only thing is learning to slide. he has to get down, because some teams will try to take him out because of how much of a threat he is on the run. get down, the extra half yard or yard (in most cases) isn't worth anything if he's out of the game injured

@@mariopi4038 It's not just the OC I know he's been missing open receivers not keeping eyes downfield doing rookie things. OC can't scheme Terry open, though, Kliff lowkey sucks at anything not rungame so far. He keeps doing dumb screen passes, waste of targets. Making it way harder than it has to be. BRob and Ekeler and Ertz the only reasons the ball keeps moving aside from Daniels rushing. Still need to see real qb play.

@@determinedmind1609 Calling out Jayden on not pushing the ball downfield when that's the main reason WAS drafted him is par for the course, you're just in denial otherwise. That game was hard to watch outside the run game.

I kind of knew that Caleb Williams wasn’t going to come out on fire. 🔥 it was going to be a little less than that. But what I didn’t think is that his passer rating was going to be that low. That’s ridiculous. 53 passer rating anyone other than Caleb with a rating that low would be on the bench.

I didn't understand the nix hype out of college. Seemed like a guy that ends up being a quality backup/journeyman type like tyrod. Does seem like a good dude though. Doesn't make excuses

@@TimothyStewart-rf6qp that ball was under thrown sir it would’ve been a TD with Zach Wilson and stidham could’ve played for all this and let nix sit 3 yrs cause buddy is a backup right now. If he wasn’t a rookie he would be benched. He reads a nfl defense at a high school level. He wasn’t ever consider 1st round talent in 4 yrs then yr 5 he plays against some off the worst power 5 defenses and pads his stats and was the worst rated qb out of all the top prospects and goes 12th we reached on a day 2 round 3 talent with bowers and any defensive player on the board
