At least the chiefs and saints did and sean Payton tried to draft mahomes which is why andy reid traded up one spot over them to steal him. The bears scouting historically sucks. These draft analysts are only setting themselves to be sound clips in the future for when the player becomes a "bust" from the unfair expectation put on him.. Merril was interviewed on the radio and he said a couple of nice things about Zach, but then he said something like this..."the only thing you could say that's a concern is that when Zach played against better competition, he didn't play well." To me, as far as grading a prospect for the NFL, that's the most important thing! What I can’t stand about these experts is they are always comparing rookie QBs to great players like Mahomes but they didn’t even see the Mahomes in Patrick Mahomes. If he was any good he would be employed by a team. He’s just entertainment. If more of us had lives they would be unemployed.

CJ Stroud "Top QB in draft class" "Only QB I'd take in round 1" 6. Bryce Young "Not a first round QB" 7. Anthony Richardson "not a first round QB" 8. Mitchell Trubisky "Shouldn't have come out" "Red Flags" "least Accurate" 8. Jadeveon Clownery "An average football player" What Merril got wrong......... 1. Preferred RG3 over Andrew Luck 2.
