Underrated song, thought of him today and just wanted to hear his voice again. I hope he makes more new music.

Easily one of the best songs written in the last 20 years. Merriweather pours so much raw soul into it. Compelling vocal performance from beginning to end.

perfect song to sit and cry to when you need a good cry....anybody else feel the same way?

this song makes me cry when I just heard it, it was a very close song that my late wife and I both liked allot .After she died I had it in her car on a memory stick which I played allot and it got damaged and didn't know the artist and never found it till now. The words are so related to what I feel, that day she died was like the verse you took something perfect which was our love and painted it in red which the red was the pain I have endured since.

Alot of people think it's depressing, truth is it's uplifting and I applaude Daniel Merriweather for blasting it out. You, Sir, are an inspiration!

What a throw back. I listened to this as a very depressed and troubled 20 year old who felt like a failure and 'behind' in life . I reached for good help worked hard at therapy and made difficult decisions to change. I did faced failures since. But now Ive a good education and job I love and a few great friends.

The thing I like most about this song is that it was co-written by Ian Dench from the superb 90s band EMF. And whilst that might seem 'Unbelievable' it is correct.
