I believe it was day 3. I was watching and was like damn, he’s down to just a Hail Mary all in. Then I saw him in the final 3 with a pile of chips the next time I tuned in lol. Crazy turn of events for sure.
Mann I was i was about text this exact comment he did he was literally almost out but this time was different you could sense a different aura on him like his whole spirit was put into winning no matter how low he could it went to in chips. I’m a big poker and tennis fan, and I’ll tell you, the crowds at Latin American tennis tournaments are absolutely insane and fun, too. Throw in the baseball culture too. And we all know about the soccer. Latin American sports fan culture is the best.
C’mon now this win isn’t historical. The guy finally wins a Las Vegas WSOP after firing probably 1,000 bullets (entries and re-entries) and playing in many tourneys with fields less than 200 players and some less than 100, statistically he should have at least one win.
Most high rolers is les then 100 entries... not many people have 50k to buy into a tournament where you will only play against the best in the world, thers basicaly no non pro who plays this thing
You're kidding right the very very best players in the world, the superstars of poker for a $50,000 buy in, playing 9 different poker games in one tournament over 5 days 100 minute blinds with super deep stacks, that is so much more impressive than winning a $1500 buying against 1000 runners over 1 to 2 days against some really bad players going for coin flips
