Since last year, I lost track of Why Don't We. I was such a big fan but you know some things will fade away a little bit. I cried when Corey died so hard I was devastated. Hearing this makes me so sad. They will always be a part of me no matter what. R.I.P Corey💙

when my friend died, i did not get a single word of comfort from my family. up until this day, I have not spoken about my trauma with them. watching this and oscar's video kind of gave me some relief, in a way that you can still speak about something no matter how long ago it was. but yall are appreciated and hope you're all well

I remember that Daniel was the ONLY one in Corey’s vlogs who seemed as nice to Corey, as Corey was to him. No shade to anyone else, but a lot of his friends had a playful relationship with him. JC Caylen always ragged on him but was super appreciative, but the gratitude and kindness was nowhere NEAR what Corey was like. Similar with Kian and other people. It’s hard to even explain. You’d hear Nessa talk about how insanely kind Corey was, and then in-person she’d just treat him normally (which makes sense) and he’d be the person taking care of EVERYONE and making them laugh. I’m glad he had someone like Daniel Seavey in his life for a little bit

3:16 - i appreciate the sharing of such a serious story. as someone who was in a dui related wreck when i was 3 with my father; and i nearly died on the scene, these stories give me chills every time. i know we can try and be positive and stuff, but at the same time, driving under the influence is not cool or funny or should be taken lightly :/. the innocent die the most. "one alcohol-related death occurs every 52 minutes in the u.s., according to the NHTSA." i understand the mindset that we are all humans and we all make mistakes; but at the same time, the lack of accountability and responsibility is why we have the issues we do as bad as we do [imo]. if this was many years ago, i'd understand a bit more. we didn't have the education and resources we do now. but..now we do. we know what driving under the influence can do. yet people still do it. if you want to risk your life, that is your choice. i wish you wouldn't, but not my choice to make. but when other people's lives are at risk, that is different to a degree. i know if i had died in the wreck i was in, i'd hope people wouldn't say "oh your father just made a mistake." yeah..a mistake that cost an innocent person their life. there is no justifying that. at least that is how i see it. i know it's a controversial mindset; but it's a matter of perspective. i can see the perspective of forgiveness, but i can also see the perspective of not doing so [forgiving]. 10:06 - i didn't know i could find you more awesome. that makes my heart happy to hear someone else caring about others. the world needs more people who care about one another. 11:27 - i am so sorry to hear about that dan. i know talking about it isn't what you want to do; but i just wanted to say i appreciate you even just stating it happened. *the biggest and warmest of hugs to all three of you*

JC Caylen, Kian Lawley, etc. It’s hard to even explain. You’d hear Nessa talk about how insanely kind Corey was, and then in-person she’d just treat him normally (which makes sense) but she never expressed gratitude even though I’m sure he knew it. I think Tessa Brooks was ONE other person I can remember, who EXPRESSED to Corey often how amazing he was, because he was the one who reached out to her when she’d started getting fat-shamed and made her understand how valuable she was outside of any sexualization or anything she’d been told she was worth in the past. Corey would always be the person taking care of EVERYONE and making them laugh. I’m glad he had someone like Daniel Seavey in his life for a little bit, because Daniel was like that toward him

Daniel Seaver is too king but it’s for his own health why he chooses to sometime forgive him and not let hate take over. That’s good for himself and good for his own well being he’s a genuine good guy. Seavey can forgive him, his family may forgive him, he may forgive himself, but the it’s not a requirement and isn’t necessary. I’m a victim of gun violence I lost my father due to someone kid thinking he could be “hard”. And I don’t hate the kid I don’t think about him he has no impact in my life and I don’t want to blaim him for my life. So I can relate and understand Daniel in a way. Just want to say that it isn’t necessary it’s a personal thing that an individual can decide for themselves what they believe they need/want to do. As an outside perspective I don’t forgive Silva bc drinking and driving is never excusable and he chose to get in that car. The fact that he faced no consequences I’d absolutely disgusting and for me gives more credit for how strong seavey is

Zach saying itll stop replaying in his head actually pissed me off. My dad killed himself in front of me 15 years ago, ive been to so much therapy, mental hospital stays, meds, treatments. You learn to live with it. It never stops replaying. To say that itll stop is a false hope that keeps people feeling bad when it doesn't stop for them. Itll get less life altering, wont interrupt your ability to function. Itll usually never stop tho.
