Fun facts: 1- Daniel Suárez is the second Latin American driver to win a race in the Cup Series and achieves his first victory on the same track where Juan Pablo Montoya won in 2007, that is, 15 years ago and as an additional fact, in the successor team of Ganassi. 2- This is the first win of the #99 car since 2014 when Carl Edwards was still with Roush, being on this track where he won that race.
Another random fact, just thought of it, with the mention of being a successor of Ganassi. Ganassi was a successor of SABCO, owned by Felix Sabates (and a minority owner of Ganassi), the first Cuban born team owner in NASCAR. Now Trackhouse, which has a direct line of succession from SABCO, is co-owned by Pitbull, who is first generation Cuban-American.

I feel he has for the majority of his career just had very bad luck. Even last year they would show speed but would have a mechanical failure of some sort. Glad to see him finally get the win!

A few crashes kept Dan from earlier wins. Great to see him win. Seems like all the field just drove to get past this race. Not that they weren't trying to get a win.
seems just right Checo Perez his best time in F1 just rightnow. Pato O'ward just doing really great in IndyCar and now Suarez won. really good for our country in the motosports worldwide

Clint Bowyer did go to Mexico at one point just like Mike Joy did. I actually wanted to know how much they learned while being in the Busch Series Mexico race.
We don't know if Chasey Pooh would've won. And if he would have, the same could be said when it came to Larson and his team not pitting and opting to win stage 1. He never got back up the top 5. Daniel earned this win, and drove a great race.
Nascar is pathetic. Always pushing wallace and suarez. Just let them race. At least Suarez has shown he is a racer and does not need a race to be given to him, like wallace did.
Why is commentary at NASCAR races so UNDERWHELMING? This is history, first Mexican-born winner ever! Listen to F1 commentary, so much more exciting. I fall asleep listening to this boring American commentary. Come on, step up your game!
