I like every song Danielle sings. She is a natural beauty young lady with an effortless voice and great stage presence. Doesn’t get much better than than that. She is young, talented and she should sing whatever she wants too.
you've came a long way love, I remember Christmas when you would always hide when you sang and now look at you!! I can't wait to see you this summer!! You're by far the best cousin anyone can ask for, you haven't the this publicity ruin your personality, you're still that amazing girl!!
Had no idea who she was before watching this video but wow! She's unique af, like I don't even know how to define this song. It's country pop mixed with some hip hop at that drop and somehow makes it all work! And the topic is about women empowerment. Genius Danielle. Can't wait to hear more from you.
Danielle, I've been a fan of yours since your first episode on The Voice! I love you so much, and this song is my favorite right now!!! I have been and always will be your #1 fan!!! Don't listen to haters, they're just jealous!
These comments are so rude. She's not doing anything wrong. She's just doing her own style and something she likes. She's not afraid to do a little something different. I personally love her voice and anything she sings⭐💘
I love how much hate this song is getting. She's expanding her horizons with music. Just because it's not considered real country doesn't mean that this song is bad or she should go back to doing real country like she was doing on The Voice and shortly after. I myself am not a huge fan of country music, but this song is amazing. I had on repeat so many times I started listening to it. It's that good.
+Chris Sheridan I pretty much agree with you 100% and this song has become my new favorite country song, regardless of how much hate it's getting or how many times people say it's not real country. Honestly, in my opinion, if it's getting so much damn hate, then she's doing something right. 'Cause haters are just jealous fans. :P "It ain't gonna be pretty pretty" or "sunny sunny". Life's full of unfairness, and negativity. I'm just looking at the negatives positively. ;) Hate all you want, jealous fans! Us real fans, who actually love this song, will still love this song and have it on repeat all damn day/night!
I absolutely LOVE the song and video. I like the direction she's going. It's country but still modern and sassy. She's transitioning beautifully as an artist and as a woman. It's awesome to see the growth and changes from when she first started on the Voice til now. I'm excited to witness her journey. You go Danielle. ❤
I completely agree with you guys!!! I absolutely love Danielle! But She adores Thomas Rhett,so what can we expect! She was asked in an interview about bro country and she replied by saying she'll stay with the traditional!! (That was before this release)
She could sing the ABC's in hard rock and I would still love it. Hate it when someone has to be labeled in a certain genre. The girl has talent and I'm so proud of her.
Danielle always sounds great, not sure why so many are critical, its fun watching her evolve as a singer, first song she can call her own, she cowrote it. Great job Danielle!
It's okay for artists to experiment different styles and sounds, I love this song just like I love heart of a Dixie. Her new album is the best yet so damn beautiful Grammy worthy honestly such a beautiful voice
I just feel like every video is a bit of the same: her and her friends. I wish the music videos had a little more of story in it, like the heart of dixie, which had both story and her friends. This one just seems like showing off her bodies and idk. She could've explored more the meaning of the song.
The meaning of the song is plain and simple. You like a girl? Tell her and get results quickly instead of expecting a relationship or reward when you do nice crap for her a few times
+GlacialRuin I believe Amanda was speaking to the fact that the VIDEO doesn't express the meaning of the song at all. A lot of girls prancing around gyrating their hips and showing off their behinds says nothing about what the song is about. Try watching the video with the sound off, and you'll see what I mean. NO WAY does the video match the song at all.
+Amanda Felizardo Goes this song is called "friend zone" obviously she would show her friends in the video. I do believe your body is something you should not show off to much of, but at least we know she is confident to show it.
I don't understand the hate. her voice still sounds country. It's a great song. She killed it. she's gotta please as many audiences as possible. Why do you think metal bands have hard songs, and soft songs? To expand the fan base.
+Games walkthrough Who cares? She helped in writing this song which means she wrote something that she likes. There are other artists who do the same thing and nobody bitches.
I just love this song. So appropriate for her age group. Just a fun song cutting up with her girlfriends. Love it! If people say it's not country....well most of the country that is coming out or has been out for years now isn't the country music we grew up on in the 70s & 80s.
God I love this girl so much. I have since she won the voice. And I was so relieved when I heard her say she was sticking to her roots and then listened to her album and was so blown away. And then I heard this and my heart broke into billions of pieces. I really hope this is a one time thing. She has an amazing traditional country voice. Regardless, I still love her and her voice to death lol
The song was good, the video was good, and she sang it very well. I don't see why the need for negative comments. Good Job Danielle! I remember voting for you on The Voice!
@@Tree0fRebirth or they could have sifted through hundreds of complements just to find one comment. Let me break a secret to you... that's what these people do. They spend hours going through all the good comments and hone into the 1 negative then rant for an hour about something said 2 months ago and ignore everything else
On top of that, this music fits into the category of country if you look it up. If it ain't your cup of tea don't throw it out, just give it to someone else.(Figuratively of course)
Y all the hate? I'm pretty sure most of u don't have such an awesome voice. She's just doing what makes her happy and what she loves and that's all that matters. If u don't like her and her music then go listen to something u like becuz this isn't the place for u. Love u Danielle! You're an awesome role model
If I'm into someone, and they aren't in me, then I'm no longer into in them. I don't have time to waste like that. What do we have, another 40 years? It's as simple as moving on to the next person. Don't waste the little time you have trying to get someone who's not right for you.
Personally, I loved it! I don't know what y'all are talking about... this is still country. Oh, so Sam Hunt, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Colt Ford and Florida Georgia Line can rap but the second Danielle wants to try it it's "horrible" and "a disgrace to country music". Sexist much? Keep up the great work, Danielle! #CreativeFreedom
No... It ain't any better when they do it. Florida Georgia Line was a disgrace to begin with, but they lost all credibility when they wrote a song about sitting on their asses getting stoned all day. Luke Bryan is country in appearance and demeanor and the way he handled himself, so he gets away with it... Plus... I mean, his butt... However most people don't think he's country either. This song is atrocious... Simple as that.
its not an opinion. country is literally defined as "a form of popular music originating in the rural southern US. It is traditionally a mixture of ballads and slower dance tunes played characteristically on fiddle, guitar, steel guitar, drums, and keyboard." but as per usual, its been corrupted by sell outs and greed into "anything sang with a southern accent." dont get me wrong i listen to alot of "Pop-Country" and i like a lot of it, but it pissess me off that people legitimately consider this to be full blown country instead of pop.
I have to confess I'm waaay too old to say this, but Danielle has more talent and vocal chops to absolutely SLAY the majority of so-called hip hop "vocal artists" ... Love her and love her song. Now I'll go back to using my walker
She literally gave instructions on how to get into the friend zone. Don't treat a girl special she will just take advantage of you. Show her that equality let her get her own stuff and maybe if she isn't there to use you. One day you may deem her worthy to date. Know your value gentleman.
Love that they used Longboards rather than the normal "stake boards." My daughter loves longboarding more than anything. This video really resonated with her.
Am I the only one who actually genuinely liked and admired this song. Sure, its not your straight down the middle Danielle Bradbery or country music song but I like a bit of variety. Typical country gets stale and boring and we need a little tweaks every so often. Florida Georgia Line is proof of this and Jason Aldean and even Luke Bryan now. Country music, in order to survive, needs to adapt to the changing ears of the people they are selling it to, which is young people.
Um...Dirt Road Anthem? That was country rap. And that was a great song. Florida Georgia Line do country rap and country pop and they are awesome. So I don't kno what you're talking about.
I didn't mention Florida Georgia Line for that reason. I can't stand them. But to each his/her own. Oh, and true country never gets stale, just overridden by people who don't understand that there is far more to it than the stupid stereotypes always given about grandma, pickup trucks, crying in your beer, dead dog, etc. that most people like to claim. Heart of Dixie was pure country, told a good story and had none of those things. And it wasn't/isn't a bit stale.
Well, stale is the wrong word.....but the old dixie country is not popular anymore. The days of Dolly Parton and Conway are gone. You have to adapt as an artist and do what sells, otherwise you are not considered a successful artist.
+NorCal Corner No one is advocating the return of Dolly Parton or Conway Twitty. They were of MY dad's generation. I didn't start listening to country until they weren't on the radio anymore. That said, there is a far cry between that era, and this rap crap that doesn't even slightly resemble anything country.
