If my father was going to fight this much to be my father, I would have been running into his arms the second he did... my father was an alcoholic and a drug addict like she said hers was, he was abusive and would never let me do anything. He never cared about anything I did, if I got top of my class he wouldn’t congratulate me. He wouldn’t care about anything, he went as far as to steal £200 for his drug addiction. The last time I saw him was in January, for my birthday, and he only gave me my gift and then asked my mum for money for cigarettes... she’s got that Dad who wants her, she has someone who supports her and someone else who will fight for her non stop because they love her, and she is just throwing her relationship with her father away... it upsets me to see this.

Additionally, the text focuses mostly on the mom, this shows that the mother was defending herself. This is common for a person who is distressed. Whereas, if it was written by Danielle, it would have been elicited from more of the father daughter relationship that they shared.
