The way they changed up the tempo and phrasing, and the way Dani scoops some of the notes completely changes ASAP from a K Pop bop to something that whiskey sipping jazz musicians would be playing in a smoke filled club. And Dani would be the torch singer sitting on the piano under a spotlight. Haerin is my bias, but there's no denying that Dani is really something special. Only Hope is from the Mandy Moore movie A Walk to Remember. Also, thank you for pointing out how smooth her transitions are from her chest voice to her head voice. I'm new to K Pop and never listened to American pop because I think it's pretty much all formulaic and simplistic garbage that is auto tuned to death, and requires little talent. It's great to see someone like Danielle who can do just about anything.
