I love Danielle and Stephania, Great actresses! It is a pity the writers did not have the creativity to keep their relationship as a positive healthy portrait of lesbian representation. Instead they took them down the "toxicity" route taken when screenwriters are done with the initial romantic conquest phase. By going with the "toxic Maya" storyline, the writers sentence the show to death! What a wasted opportunity! 😢😭😞

The show needed more obscure characters and story lines that fewer viewers identify with. They didn't get diverse enough. America wants to see a Trans person in a wheelchair and a minority character who is blind. This show thought it was breaking new ground when actually it played it too safe and viewers got bored.
