Diddy literally had a history-making girl group in the palm of his hand and he threw it all away like the buffoon he is! These ladies already scored their first two albums back to back on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, debuting and peaking at #1, an unseen feat by any girl group in history. Apparently Diddy didn't catch the memo and ignorantly destroyed these poor girls. A total bummer. I always enjoyed their first album and their crazy underrated club stomper with Missy Elliott on "Bad Girl".

This group was so dope! Shannon's dance skills were technical and precise. She didn’t miss a beat. D. Woods brought that round the way girl vibe. Dawn was the soul of the group. Aundrea sang with so much passion. Aubrey brought the sex appeal. You put all that together and... 💥💥💥💥💥 Side note: love that 3 part harmony ad-lib that Aundrea and D.Woods sing on the 3rd chorus at 2:41. Dawn and Aundrea always had a natural musical chemistry. It was nice to see Aundrea have that with D.Woods in this song.

Still remember the first time I listened to this song on a TV music program back to late 2009, and then I felt in love with this song because of the pink and glamorous scenario, together with the addictive chorus and the singers´voices whose are really but really good. Can´t believe years gone by so fast, I was only 9 at that time (was turning into 10 tho) and now I´m freaking 18 like DAMN A DECADE HAS PASSED SINCE IT WAS RELEASED...Btw I still do love listening to it nowadays so hard and this masterpiece will never get old to me!

Noah Harris Yeah 3 members of DK (if you can even still call them DK) released a album, and broke up before the album was even released. They would still be huge if Diddy didn't break them up and drop them all because there was disagreements. He did the same shit to Dream in 2003.

Yes, there would be a Fifth Harmony hunny. When Destiny’s Child was around I remember there was Xscape, there was SWV, there was En Vogue, there was the Cheetah Girls and other girlgroups. Why should there only be one now? Wouldn't it be better to have multiple big girlgroups instead of just one?

+Bella McGuire Difference is En Vogue was THE girl group because all four girls sang lead parts. Not to mention they came before Destiny's Child. The Cheetah Girls specifically for TV entertainment. Destiny's Child, Xcape, and SWV all debuted the same damn year. So it's dumb to say "When DC was around there was Xcape, SWV and En Vogue." The only group that came way later was the Cheetah Girls. Danity Kane isn't a thing anymore. Fifth Harmony is only Fifth Harmony because they got 3rd place in a contest. If you wanna make a comparison, then don't compare groups that came out the same year when Danity Kane and 5H are like 10 years apart.

The funny part about your comment is that both groups actually were out and pretty successfully (in their own right) at the same time. 5H formed before DK had their reunion. 5H didn't really have their breakthrough hit yet, but they were definitely known and had a strong fan base. Not entirely sure why people compare both groups. I'm not gonna lie, I never cared for 5H but I got an opportunity to see them live and they're all definitely talented. Their music is not the best and is geared towards girls 12-19 but they can all sing. In my opinion, all 5 singers of 5H are better singers than the two weakest singers of DK (Aubrey & Shannon).

I would argue that D also played a big part in blending all of those sounds. Andrea had the best vocals, D woods complimented everything and shined on her parts and Dawn was distinctive and anchored the group with richness. They were all stars and all talented but the above three hands down were the sound of the group. Imo.
