Yea it’s sad that d woods hasn’t acknowledged this group let alone follow any of the members a decade later tbh I think she’s bitter 🤷🏾♀️ maybe that’s just me but it’s just no way she hasn’t acknowledged them or follow any of the members and we ina whole new decade … like …
@@famoouszhaaa7793 nope she was one of the problems, I said this like why you still bitter, everyone came back for dk4 but her, she’s the reason we don’t have danity kane
@@b.k.a.thegoldenchild2305 no need to shade Danity Kane both groups were the shits in they prime 🔥😘 but let’s not act like the Pussy cat dolls didn’t also go through the same shit Danity Kane went through behind the scenes such as drama , shady shit between members and etc … Pussy Cat Dolls wasn’t perfect by far ! But I’m not gonna deny there talent or try to use that to bring them down .
Damn this group was epic! I miss them all so much. Diddy did build a super group but ruined it by not paying them. They are better than most groups in the past . They all CAN sing and can dance they all have stage presence. Such a shame they ended they way they did.
I love DK with a passion, but at the same token you can't just blame Diddy for running the group. all 5 of them had egos and they let their egos get the better of them and their heads began to swell up.
@@b.k.a.thegoldenchild2305 I blame Diddy, he wanted dawn to be his background singers hehe for his group. This just caused everyone to drift and do something else in life. I see Aubrey, dawn and Shannon still perform but it's not the same.
@@b.k.a.thegoldenchild2305 I think their demise had to do with Diddy and Bad Boy but also they were literally a group crafted and developed by a reality show competition. I don’t think the competition spirit left them after the show ended. They had a shaky foundation but a ton of talent. I honestly think they needed a while to sync up, bond, find the right team and then start making music. Instead right away they started “acting” like a group, making music and performing before they even really got to know each other. Honestly, it’s a surprise they made it to album #2 with the 5 of them all together.
Danity Kane even though they have minor flaws was the perfect package of a girl group and could’ve been extremely big I almost wish they was under a different label. Because they had a great mixture of different genres it was multi-cultural they all can sing equally they had sex appeal and talent. I believe if they was under Epic or Columbia records they would’ve became the highest selling girl group of all time
They could've been THE BIGGEST GIRL GROUP of ALL TIME! they had it all even tho I like DK4 and DK3 they will never be the same without all 5 of them, Diddy can be whatever you wanna call him but he damn sure knew how to pick a group.
This is so bittersweet to watch now awww.... first of all, thank you for uploading this in such great quality... Honestly, looking at them in this, they were definitely small issues present, but they were so professional and in business mode, and actually looked like a cohesive group... What I think the real problem with Danity Kane is that they didn't seem to know how to compromise as a group, not fully anyway, and i think they were all in different mindsets whilst apart of the group, and so they weren't on the same page to be out in public as a group. Also, I think they still were somewhat competing with each other, like they were taught to on making the band, instead of complimenting one another, and supporting each other... the problem with manifactured groups in general are that each member comes in it with a different purpose, mostly looking at it as a stepping stone to much better things, so it makes it impossible for them to all gel as a group genuinely and truthfully because they were put into the group, and still have a soloist mentality as opposed to a united group one. Ok Rant over lol... let me end it by saying... all five of the girls' vocals were on fire here, they were all on top notch there, as i've seen some performances from them that were just ... never mind... it's a shame Danity Kane weren't able to really reach their potential, who knows where they would've ended up now.
They deserved better. Honestly D was meant to be a solo star. something extra about D in my opinion vocally that outshined the others. But they’re all phenomenal
if it wasn’t for the show that never left filming them throughout the entire process, there would’ve been a lot less pressure. They had confessionals and that’s a whole other job. Even the breakup/firing was filmed. This group was amazing but they were overworked and underpaid. Now i can understand why Andrea was just ready to go.
I've said this before.... you could/could have taken any member at any given time out of the group but still had dawn alongside and you still could mange the sound of danity Kane but the moment you remove dawn it loses that. just as she has been able to manage her sound with the different producers she has worked with since being solo. it's always been her..
Everyone stop blaming the group it wasn't them. When Aubrey got fired did yall hear where she said management was telling them things to cause a riff in the group? They didnt expect them to be as big as they were.
I would have loved to see Diddy publicly tear into his managements a** the way he lit into Lorianne... He doesn't talk to the males on his team the same way he does the females
I was always partial to shannon because i remember seeing her in the competition show Fame and when i saw her on making the band i just knew she'd make it
mannnn revisiting this.. its evident dawn had no competition during them making the band days... and that run on one shot at 8:18 and damage 9:56-10:12. lawwwd 🥰🥰
So much talent this made me cry thank u so much for uploading this God bless u all of them were so equally talented they could all sing and dance all of them had great stage presence they broke my heart when they disbanded I am praying that all 5 will get together and do a final tour I wouldn't pay to see any of the artists that are out today they sound horrible live no talent but Danity Kane and the spice Girls (because they spread girl power in this world were everyone loves to put women down) are my favorite girl groups of all time I would pay to see them live any day ❤
its funny you mention the spice girls because i used to always equate them to the spice girls lol. Dawn was Scary spice for her fluid dancing and technique Aubrey was Ginger due to her sassy and confident personality Aundrea was Baby, which is pretty self explanatory because i mean...come on...she's adorable lol Shannon was Posh because she was always looked at as the quiet and poised one Dwoods was Sporty due to the chill and athletic style she had And how interesting that their final albums were similar too and the one where both groups shined the brightest and stepped into their own by welcoming you into their world...Spice World/Welcome to the Dollhouse. I get so aggravated when I think of Danity Kane because they could have really became bigger than they were if they had better management and a better label.
Smh soooooo much talent the potential was incredible that damn bad boy curse......egos .....they would've been huge one of the girls groups u always talked about!! Oh how I miss live vocals they sounded amazing .....soooooo bittersweet
I was so into DK went to shows they did in San Diego, Hollywood, Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Had the t-shirts. Went to the Jimmy Kimmel taping they were on and did a meet and greet with them. I loved me some DK fr
honestly they were all so different they each brought something different to the group and yet it worked so well it was absolute perfection honestly they're all my favorites.
Where’s the lie though? Sara started gaining popularity around 2007 with her song Love Song and this was filmed in 2008. Aundrea definitely recognized the talent in Sara though, even if she doesn’t get all the recognition she deserves.
I wish this group could have stayed together. Then again every group from Bad Boy hits a snag I don’t know what it is about this label. This was an awesome group that definitely left an impression.
One thing I noticed dawn said how lights out was made with just them & the engineer...cut to so many years later dawn has been creating her solo work with just herself the producer & engineer! Not all that extra hoopla...if there was anyone to go solo it would have been Dawn from the beginning!! Even without puffs approval
The fact that they were never paid still blows my mind. Two albums, tours, and a very popular reality show and no pay????? They need whats due to them, both from diddy AND Mtv!!!!
@DanityKane DAAAAAAMN SHAME!!!!! Such awesome and beautiful talent you all let outside influences get in the way of some awesome creative magic YOU ALL brought to the table. As a super fan you let me down along with thousands of other super fans and if you ever watch this it proves it....
So much tension on that stage. Clearly D.Woods hate them all lol. And Aubrey and Aundrea CANT STAND EACH OTHER!!! And Shannon and Dawn are the buffers 😳😳😳💀💀😕
@@havensohn3821 D. Woods never wanted to be in a band. She just wanted to use it as a platform for her own “solo career”. So right there she was never really interested in the other girls and being close with them. So a clique formed of aundrea, dawn and Shannon because they wanted to be there. Aubrey had a lot of resentment because she thought she was going to be the star of the group because she was an amazing dancer, which she was, but when it came to vocals aundrea and dawn blew her out of the water so that’s why aundrea and Aubrey’s friendship dwindled. That’s why d. Woods and Aubrey formed a “friendship” because they were both kind of on the outside of the group. And in the end that’s why Diddy Fired the 2 of them! D.woods and dawn also never got along and apparently D.woods never liked aundrea because aundreas voice got chosen over hers a lot! So just a huge mixture of things. But basically it all came down to, she never wanted to be in the group, just to use it as a stepping stone which was sooo messed up!
@@sirot5561 Yet D Woods was clearly always singing. She really wasn’t first on voice on songs but she either had an equal part or multiple parts in every song
@@sirot5561 This is laughable and clearly just an opinion of someone that disliked D. Woods for no reason. First, her desire was to be an actress not a solo artist. Music all together was her stepping stone, which isn't messed up at all because to get to where you want to be you gotta put yourself out there any way that you can. D was also cool with them all at one point in time of their time together, her and Dawn literally used to be in the studio and write together all the time. It wasn't until years later they both started saying they never clicked. Sometimes people interest change and so does theirfriendship. The show only showed D. Woods and Aubrey friendship more because they were out on the town together. She had actually said they never aired the times her and Drea would go out to eat. Her distain for the group came years later when fans started tearing her down and saying she wasn't needed and the group didn't back her up. I wouldn't return to a group that won't have my back either.
@@b.k.a.thegoldenchild2305 well...therapy typically works when people are honest and want to improve. Nothing is ever too far to come back from as long as people are willing to forgive and love.
@@Natural2bmii that is true but it's not as easy as you think it is. D.Woods said on many interviews and made it very clear that she didn't want to reunite with the group and Aundrea is very similar because she's enjoying her low key family life.
@@b.k.a.thegoldenchild2305 relationships are complex, however, when I made this statement I meant that they should have had therapy when they were together at this point in there lives. Now, there are more elements in play they would make hard for anyone. But if they value each other's relationship then therapy could still be helpful for reconciliation. Not to reunite as a group, but to promote healing for the wounds they have created.
Such a shame. Still love them though even with just 3. Wish Aubrey and Dawn would finish their album together. I actually really loved every song on DK3! Was mad Shannon didn't or dropped out of the follow up album but, I absolutely love New Kings with just Dawn and Aubrey. As well as Fly. But 3 songs an album does not make girls. Come on let's finish it up. Pleaseeeee!
I dont think dawn was scary.bit I get what u mean.. they remind me.of a mixture between the spice girls and the pussycats dolls. These girls had it all and didn't even know where to take it. They needed to regroup not disband on making the band
@@donmonteiro6830 but we all can agree that Aubrey is definitely like Ginger Spice you know what I mean the least talented one out of the group but knows how to get the attention

They were SO on point!!! They missed the fun factor though, they all look like they’re trying really hard. I wish they would’ve loosened up and had fun.
