@3:20 that sounds to me he wasn't to convinced by the setup by immediately trying to rectify the situation by telling, yes but we have better subwoovers than this, I understand you may found certain things lacking.... xD After some investigation, and some of their own claims that they make one of the most powerfull subs in the world, i've been looking around a bit at Danley's. So far it seems good for long distance travel. Not so sure for smaller venues or spaces. I wonder how well it behaves in a more club / dance music kind of setting, as to compare it to latest VOID and funktion one speakers. I've seen the one groove soundsystem using Danley's, unfortunate not seen it Live. But the Danley seems very amazing and I wonder how suitable it is for a Dance stack. Some feedback is appreciated!
Danley Sound Labs SH 50s are the only speakers I have ever listened to that brought tears to my eyes for the quality. Not talking quantity...cuz we were not pushing them just listening to songs with great vocals. Ask George Lucas what he uses in his home theater. Ask Walmart what speakers they use in their Home Office auditorium. Contact a dealer and arrange a demo if you are seriously consider buying. Try the SM80 for mains. ,,,,and Try a TH118 or two for starts.
"Not sure for smaller venue" ? They're ideal for smaller venue ... they offer an essentially un-limited dynamics/power from a point source HiFi type approach. Single box/side is ideal for fidelity. That top cabinet in the video is a quad 15", 11 driver/point source, produces a smooth clean output with peaks of nearly 140dB. Point being the Synergy Tops are ideal for smaller venues. There's huge advantages to possessing all that clean controlled directivity output from a single, phase accurate top box per side.
By far best subs, th118 clubs or outside venues, one each side will do 98% of club gigs up to 300-500 ,we just done a festival 5000 people one th118 a side .. sweet.. only using 4000 amp on subs bridged.
2 Stacks... DJ monitor😂and there asking for it to be louder did you say .. ffs dont book a deaf dj in the 1st place ..or sack the technician for setting up a monitors a mile away from the dj .
