When life gets me down, I watch this clip. It taught me that life, like how Danny Beer skates, is not about the obstacles in it, but how you surmount them. Seeing things in a different light, and making the best out of every little detail, and with a good sense of humor, and not take things too seriously. Thank you rollerblading, thank you crazy Danny Beer, and thank you Justin Trudeau.
It’s to much Wonnabe Dustin Latimer tryin’ to be creative, the big prob is that Dustin L had style and was fking creative and took rollerbladin’ to a hole new lvl, this is just way to much tryin’ to be creative and copy another legend way to much..
@@beautyinc1990 That is some Haterade bullshit. We are all influenced by something. Hell, I'm from New York State, but when I sing, it sounds like a southern twang. It's not purposely, just built in I guess. Negativity in rollerblading is a fucking disease. You know that Mega Ramp comps for rollerblading actually had great reviews, but got kicked out of Nitro Circus just because Rollerblading fans talked too much negative shit? Think about that. Jaded assholes made it so Dave Lang can't compete vs Chris Haffey. Congrats.
Idk man. It's all subjective. Like in skateboarding. It can get weird mixed with skill. Art, baby, art. I think it's super sick seeing this in rollerblading. Gets me hyped to be a hooligan and less afraid to look silly stumbling around at 30.
You know in that movie Hero, with Jet Li, when he goes to that swordsman in the calligraphy school, and asks him to write the word "SWORD" to see be able to read his writing, and from that, gage is swordsmanship skills, then we see that huge dramatic scene, of him dramatically writing something in chinese, with a huge brush, while his hair is all flowing in the air. Well he didn't write the word sword. He wrote the chinese word for "Danny Beer"
Word. Im core and started skating in 2001 so I grew up only knowing the HAMMER era... big gaps, long grinds, spins into and outta rails, injure yourself kinda shit, etc. But the way Danny skates with power and just balance would fit right in back then.... he draws his style from that era bc he grew up on it too. He just has the power and imagination to use his power through movement. The way he squats it out when he stomps a landing is VERY early 2000's steaze.
Danny that was so sick ,and this is coming from an older blader 33 now ,you will always get haters for doing different tricks ,but it's keeping our thing fresh i loved how creative and unique that section was and the music perfect Godbless you keep killing it
Way to much tryin’ to be Dustin Latimer creative in my eyes, the big diff was though Dustin had mad style and did crayzy grinds to, this dude never grimds and that’s the heart of rollerblading (agressive)
This kind of ludacris skating that proves it doesn't have to be 3 flips and 5 consecutive grinds for blading to be fun and entertaining. Great job, Danny boy! Wish all our clips could strive to this :D
SORRY, BUT I LEGIT,, DO NOT LIKE HIS SKATING STYLE WAT SO EVER, I HAVE 2B HONEST?!?! "MY PERSONAL OPINON" IS ITS TOTALLY WACK!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT TRYNA B A HATER RIGHT-NOW/WAT SO EVER, BUT ITS 🍄 BLADING ON #CRACK?!?! THE STRAIGHT JUMP WAS DIESEL ASF THO, DATS 4DAM SURE?!?!
I didn't think it could get any more inventive but this just pushed the bar even more. So much fun, so motivating. Takes me back to when I started skating and discovering everything.
It's cool you can see this is what it should all be about having fun and messing about. We all forget that sometimes and take ourselves too seriously. This should remind us not too.
How do you do it Danny? Every single trick you do is more creative than any trick anyone has ever done! Dead ass serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bravo
This shit is sick I just got my first pair I can’t wait to get them practice practice practice.....I feel I’m a little old but fuck it I break a hip or break a hip.....
Yep. Skating IS ALL ABOUT MANIPULATING your body over objects. Its why blading imo is the truest extreme sport bc its just your body -you are one with the skate. And have a freedom on movement no possible with bikes or boards. Its just you. But thats the thing. With bikes and boards you can just bail if something goes wrong. With Blading you have to commit and ride out your trick. Blading is the GOAT. Its why people shun it too because it has an easy barrier of entry but at its peak can be even more dangerous than any other discipline. Danny Beer is innovating. You dont have to almost kill yourself on every trick like we did in 2000-2006 XD. However the level of riding has progressed and pros know their limits. We love our Legends like Chris Haffey, Rashard Johnson, Randy (Roadhouse) Spizer, Brian Shima, Brian Aragon, Chris Farmer, Aaron Feinberg, Dustin Latimer... and guys like Danny are paying them homage well. And going by how many greats are named Chris or Brian - give blading a try - its so fun.
I've never been so torn about a section. I love half of his tricks and hate the other half. His music selection would have been perfect if every trick was a banger. But instead it came off very comedic. He seems like a very intense and interesting person to have a beer with.
