Child actors were all treated badly and once the fame was over they had nothing but problems. It's a wonderful he survived it all as many actors didn't.
I follow Danny & his wife on Twitter, and they are remarkable, both of them! So much fun❤ But, I’ll tell you, everyone loves Danny and everyone was very concerned for him when he was sick. It’s wonderful to see him well again!
Wow! I love this side of Danny. I watched his talk show and loved it, I watched The Partridge Family. Mom still has the Partridge Family album they put out. I am so happy for him. Water on the brain can cause serious brain damage. It presses it putting pressure on the brain. He was lucky. 😊❤. He keeps on going like the energy rabbit banging that drum. 😅
Danny; you will forever be one of my favorite "ginger's". ( I'm one as well ). Very cool to hear that David helped you through sobriety; etc. Keep going strong. Wishing you and your family all of God's blessings . . . You alway's reminded me of the song: "Come On Get Happy". Love your energy and healthy outlook on life; and that you made your way through some challening times. Your story is inspiring; thank you for that. ✳️🌼😊🌞🦋 🚌 🌞🌼🌼🍦✳️ 🚌✳️The Partridge Family Bus ✳️🚌
Hey, Danny! I just want to thank you for shining a light into my childhood. I grew up outside of Reading, PA. My mom was a pro musician and music teacher, and i grew up with Hammond organs in the living room. But my dad hit my mom when i was 4-years old, and i lost her 12 years later due to that single punch. But when i was 7, 8, 9+ years old, you, David, Shirley, Susan, etc., brought joy, and even more music into my life. I could go on with some of this, but i had another awesome surprise from my best friend (who's gone since 2016) when he took my buddy and i to see David perform in Atlantic City around 15 years ago, and that was a dream come true for me, especially getting to shake his hand there at the stage surrounded in a sea of girls! Too funny, and both my buds ribbed me for a while, but that memory will last all my days, man! Anyway, thanks, Danny! And thanks for clueing us all into your journey! We all have our "stuff", our challenges, so many lessons to be shared! Btw, i went on a year after my mom died to be a pro pianist/singer in my area. I know you didn't sing on the albums or show, but you know, those record albums (especially the first three) still stand up after all this time; the songs, the arrangements, etc., and i'm sure i don't have to tell you, a good song is forever! Peace, Danny...Always wish you well! And thank you, Celebrity Drop for interviewing our favorite red-headed kid!
I don't know how old Danny is,.....but I'm 70, and a female friend of mine is also 70,...and she was recently diagnosed with the same "mystery disease". Fluids on her brain.... She is experiencing random dizzy spells. She will be having her surgery, in a few weeks. She tells me they will be draining the fluids, from her brain,.....down to stomach. I hope she has the same success & recovery, as Danny.
Danny is never boring! Glad I grew up in the 70s. We loved Partridge Family in our house. I read Danny’s book and I’m just sorry his real childhood was nothing like his tv family. What a survivor!
I've always enjoyed interviews with Danny all through the years. He's always so honest and forthcoming. And he's so funny. I'm so happy he's feeling well.
I'm so happy he's doing well. I remember his reality show and he was one pretty scary guy for a while. His kids look terrific and it's great that they are NOT in the business.
Great to see the energetic and lively Danny Bonaduce being interviewed again. He is a treasure to listen to. Loved your earlier chat with Danny and this is a timely update. Glad he’s OK, and Craig in your excellence as a host, you bring a whole new bunch of fascinating Danny topics to the fore. Loved watching this. x
I LOVED the report between Danny & Mr. Kincaid! It was hilarious ... & David's reaction to Danny was always done perfectly ... just priceless ... whenever Danny duped him or blamed him for something Danny himself caused! The show is a classic - still makes me laugh & brings me joy whenever I watch it - even now (& I'm 59) after having grown up watching it as a kid! Every cast member contributed to its constitution & success & I thank them all for putting their talents forth for our sheer enjoyment. I wish Danny continued success with his sobriety & career opportunities! Thanks "Partridge Family"! 😁
Im thrilled for Dannys now wife, even though your a "Good Woman (or Man.)", thats not enough for some of them to change their ways. They are an adorable couple! 💘
Aww Craig, what a terrific catch-up with Danny. So much good energy and great stories. Your first interview with Danny was the best, and this one a pearler. So much respect to you both 😊😊
I also had a brain tumor (non-cancerous, thank God) & hydrocephalus. I also now have a shunt on the right side of my head that, like Danny's, comes down my neck, over the sternum & into my stomach. The hydrocephalus does indeed mimic a stroke & dementia. It causes you to know realize just what is going on with you! It was a VERY scary time....I can relate with every word of what you described, Danny!! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers ❤ I've loved you since we were kids in the early 70's watching you on The Partridge Family!!!😘🤗💘
I have hydrocephalus also. My shunt is on the left side and leads to the same place as yours. Never figured out how I came to have it. Nobody in the family has had anything like it before or since.
Please don't speak for Seattle. He's good and I was a fan, but there were GREATS in Seattle, that he doesn't hold a candle to. Steve Slaton, for example, is a Seattle radio Deity. Danny's not even top ten in this town.
What a great interview. Thanks Craig. Danny is a livewire, always has been so. He sure is a survivor and thriver! Great to catch up with his new life in Palm Springs. I hope to run into him one day! 😍👏🏼🎶
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Like millions more, I grew up as a fan of “The Partridge Family”. I am happy to see Danny is much better from his illness and thriving. Thank you for the walk down memory lane.
@carolstruck708 I don't know if you know, please we must capitalize the G when referring to the most high God. small g refers to demon gods, it's in the Bible, Deutoronomy and Leviticous and Kings. I hope this helps. words matter, let's keep evil away
As always, such a great interview. Danny tells it like it is, and Craig -you ask the best questions with heart. Keep these fabulous conversations with celebrities coming. I eagerly await the next. ❤
You look great Danny! Im happy to see you back. Iv always gave you credit for owning up to mistakes you made in the past and talking about it. That definitely helps people to realize its not how you start but how you finish! 🙏
Thanks Craig for the great conversation with Danny. I listened to him when he was on the radio in Seattle. I’m glad to see that you are doing better health wise. It made me sad to see you with a cane and not knowing what was wrong with you. Take care!
I like Danny, he is very down to earth. He never shows off that he’s famous, just a great humble man, he keeps everything real. Wonderful personality ❤
Such a treat, this. Loved your first interview with Danny here, so this is a great update, as had wondered if he was really retired. Its fun following Danny and his wife on Instagram. Hope he sees these comments to know how much he’s loved 💕
I read his book when I was first trying to get sober. His brutal honesty helped me be honest with myself. I’ve been a fan since. He’s no perfect but he’s brutally honest about it. He laid it bare. Big fan. Been sober myself 9 years from opiates. If you’re suffering get help. It works if you work at it.
Good Lord Danny! I am glad you’re OK! That is crazy! I grew up watching the Partridge family & I thought of you as a brother figure, like my own brother was. 😂 ✌️❤️
I saw Danny at Toads Place in New Haven when he was touring with David Cassidy...good looking guy then not bad now. Love how he is back on his game at least during this interview.
Wow Danny so cool You are like a breath of fresh air You have really have loongjevity You never really lost your fame the Partridge family , You have been quite relevent thru out the years I like the new you in the 80s and 90s you grew horns Keep up what your doing its working Your son Dante use to be a face book friend of mine when did school in Bisbee AZ I get star struck really easy Rodney in Tucson AZ
I worked at Lou Malnati's Pizza in the 90's, Danny had a Radio Show close by... One night they ordered like 20 pizzas, I had to Deliver them!!! Danny came out and introduced himself to me....I guess that was my Tip!!! Seems like he is at almost at Peace now!!! If he sent me that Tip, he might be totally at Peace...Dont leave any stone unturned!!!
That's something, to be able to get sober, and stay sober. I hope my son can find a way to kick the drugs. I wish you could call him, Danny.. LOL.. I laughed at myself for that comment, but gosh, it really would be great.
Man he looks a lot better. Put on some weight. Grew up watching The Partrige Family. He's just a couple years older than me. Wishing him good health and happiness.
It was one young lady, Bernadette Whelan, and not two who died at David Cassidy's concerts. Bernadette had a preexisting heart condition which contributed to her death at aged 14. So sad!
