Here's a list of songs Pac & DannyBoy did: I aint mad at cha Mama's just a little girl Toss it up Picture me rollin Where u been Lil homies Welcome 2 deathrow Too late playa Whatz ya phone # Never be peace Heaven aint hard 2 find
What everybody got to realize is Danny Boy was a kid back then. He got famous singing hooks. Everybody who grew up in the 90s knew who he was. The dude on the hook with Pac. After Pac died and Suge got locked down his career pretty much vanished.
Is he not singing for a living now? I know people that do covers in bars, and still make as much as a mill worker. Seems like he has enough of a name to draw a crowd to a casino
Wow Danny Boy u was worth more than they gave u credit for u been out this long & lord knows i didn't know u could sing that well u r AWESOME AMAZING DAUM U CAN SING!!!
Kurupt said Dre got shot in both legs after punching a dude in the studio. if a nigga shot me in both my legs at work, u can bet your sweet ass im getting transfered or leaving the company lol.
Baba Agba YOu need to subscribe to Jmix channel then because he has all kinda Tupac stories that most people have never heard, by people who was actually there
chitizzle . TUPAC WAS A STAR AND HAD HIT RECORDS BEFORE DEATHROW, HOWEVER HE WAS NEVER MULTI PLATINUM BEFORE HE SIGNED TO DEATH ROW AND STARTED BEEFING! HE WAS SUPREMELY TALENTED BUT THE CONTROVERSY FUELD THE CROSSOVER
chitizzle YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT HIS CRETIFICATIONS PRE DEATH ROW AND BEFORE HE WAS KILLED. HIS ELEVATED CELEBRITY STATUS IF BEING ON DEATH ROW MADE FOLKS REVIST THOSE ALBUMS. HE WAS ALWAYS TALENTED BUT WAS NOT A SUPERSTAR BEFOR DEATH ROW.
Vlad be like "i've interviewed big bird's mistress, elmo's little sister, burt, cookie monster's cellmate, barnie's son, the red teletubby's exwife, arthur's side chick, and tommy pickles."
i know i am years late for reply but i know what his first question would be vlad: "so hows your relationship with god and slim jesus?, Y'all work things out yet?
+John Ross cant say i blame him. 20 years ago or not, alot of ppl, some closely related, as well as alot of crazy ass stans, take this pac and east coast vs west coast shit very seriously. in reality he is taking a chance talking about it, esp for fn vlad.
Vlad just effing all up in this interview... Unless you interviewed him and never uploaded it, Vlad, you spoke with *Bigg Tray Deee*, not Goldie Loc - you got the wrong Eastsida. And Orlando Anderson's G name was *Baby Lane*, not Baby D from Next Friday. Get them facts straight, Vladimir.
Ryan Schwebel exactly . i caught that too !!! DID ANYNODY ELSE NOTICE HOW DANNY BOY SIDE OF THE STORY WENT!? I HEARD FROM EVERYBODY ELSE THAT PAC BEAT ORLANDO UP "AFTER" THE MIKE TYSON FIGHT HAPPENED . BUT DANNY BOY TELLIN THE STORY SAYIN THAT PAC GOT INTO THE FIGHT WITH ORLANDO "BEFORE" THE TYSON FIGHT EVEN HAPPENED!!! PAY CLOSE ATTENTION. HE SAID HE COULDN'T MAKE IT TO THE TYSON FIGHT BECAUSE HE HAD SOME "RED SPOTS" ON HIS CLOTHES . & HE HAD TO GO TO THE MALL TO GET SOMETHING ELSE TO WEAR TO THE TYSON FIGHT. & THIS IS "AFTER PAC HAD ALREADY SEEN ORLANDO ON THE ESCALATOR & WORDS WERE EXCHANGE & THEY PUT HANDS & FEET ON HIM.. SO FOR THE SLOW PEOPLE WHO CANT COMPREHEND WHAT IM SAYING , DANNY BOY SAID HE WAS WITH PAC & SUGE WHEN THEY JUMPED ORLANDO SO HE SAID THEY JUMPED HIM BEFORE THE TYSON FIGHT EVEN HAPPENED. GO BACK & LISTEN ... HE SAID THAT SUGE WAS GONE LEAVE HIS TICKET DOWN STAIRS FOR HIM AFTER HE COME FROM THE MALL .. BUT EVERYBODY ELSE WHO TOLD THE VEGAS STORY SAID PAC & DEATH ROW JUMPED ORLANDO "AFTER" THE TYSON FIGHT CUZ HE WAS HYPED UP FROM SEEING TYSON KNOCK DUDE OUT IN THE FIRST ROUND!! PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT IM SAYING.. & WHAT DANNY BOY IS SAYING.. . SOMEBODY LYING ! I CAUGHT ON TO THAT ...
Danny boy wanted him to get to Michele so he can talk about him maybe he lowkey had feelings fa him how we know🤷🏾 cuzz he wanted him to hurr up!!!!😭😂😭😂🤔🤔😁
Man I just listened to his album “It’s About Time” which was dropped in like 2010. It’s all compiled of songs he did at Death Row and it’s really a great R&B album. For real it’s a shame it’s so under the radar cause it’s got that Death Row heyday sound to it.
***** lol danny boy did lie ...at first he said he was with PAC when the fight started .. Then he said he didn't go to the fight cause he had too change clothes. Smh
Look at how everytime he mentiones pac his whole face lights up. And that 20 years later. For me as a pac fan i find it so sad how it ended for pac but i cant even imagine the pain they must be feeling. Dannyboy, outlawz, suge Frank alexander mopreme big syke and so on. I Really cant even imagine. They must be Scared 4 life. Makes me so sad.
All those dues from death row and even some outside celebs such as Madonna,Will Smith,my guy Mike Tyson and etc say they loved pac. Even Suge crazy self will start crying talking about him. He was just different.
+Jenna Leigh Haha. No problem. Vlad can definitely be a trip sometimes, but, dammit, I love watching his channel. Especially, all the old school, 90's, Gangsta Rap, NWA, Death Row, Ruthless, West Vs. East, etc., type of interviews and shit. Much love! On behalf of ALL true Hip-Hop heads, like myself.
Robert Ryan I watch Vlad for the same reason. I like Charlemagne, but the NWA interviews, along with all the late 80's/early 90's folks. I grew up on a lot of this, but I'm learning so much that I never knew! Cheers :) xo
Hold up... Danny says he was with Suge & Pac when they fought Orlando Anderson after the fight.. Then when asked about something different he says he went. to the mall to get some clothes and before he could get back Suge called and said the fight was over and to just meet them at 662... Did anyone else catch that?
I know I'm a year late but he said he was with Suge and Pac during the Orlando Anderson fight ... AFTER the fight they went back to the Luxor hotel and he noticed something red on the back of his pants so he called Suge and told him he was going to the mall to get something else to wear and by the time he was on his way back to see the Tyson fight it was over Tyson had knocked the dude out so Suge told him to meet them at the club
@@Rtv1ComCHICAGONEWS no shit . There is alot of "old" stuff that happened but I'm sure you''re asked the same questions all the time...... get your story right or say "i can't remember"
+Danix Dude just wanna hear it from the guest mouth. Vlad ain't bad n im a COB fan. Crooked could've hung him out 2 dry but they talked it out. Respect
Danny boy - yeah PAC would come grab me out the studio to come do a hook for him kinda made me mad but it was PAC Vlad - yeah PAC told me that when I interviewed him 😂
Danny is a real good dude, met him a few times and he always comes across so humble and whatever. But this dude been around amazing people and times and was apart of it.
What's all this reference about slim Jesus dude ....smh, I don't understand you internet, social media dudes you ALL make the same comments over and over ...
I thought Danny Boy said he was there when Orlando and PAC got into it.then he said he missed the Tyson fight, and Suge said just meet them at the club
Shit I didn't even know that, I knew that 2pac loved to take a person beat and destroy them with a diss on they own shit but I didn't know "Toss it up" was a Dre beat Lmao! 2pac was a savage!
+Me Mr. Who? toss it up wasnt a dre beat fam. big shipp over at death row took the no diggity beat (which teddy riley produced) and flipped it for pac for toss it up. Dr. Dre was featured on No Diggity, but had no production credit. But that mattered none to Pac. Pac saw Dre on a project unrelated to Death Row fresh after Dre walked away from the Row......and Pac went in, in typical Pac fashion.
Me Mr. Who? Danny boy has said alot of things in this interview that doesnt exactly add up. I dont hold it against him, shit was 20 yrs ago. But no, beat was a teddy riley production. Dre was on no diggity for bars only.
Okay he said he was at the fight with Orlando but he also said he missed the fight because of his pants. The fight was after the boxing match so everybody else is saying, he couldn't have been there
I love watching him...his stories make you feel like we were there at that time toss it up and heaven ain't hard to find are my two favorites I have more but my two number ones.
The original toss it up is on here. It doesnt have Pac second verse where he's dissin Dre which leads me to believe it was recorded while Dre was still with Death Row. Dre prolly lied to Pac nd told him he made the beat wen it was really done by Teddy Riley, he leaves Death Row with the beat, they put out no diggity nd send Death Row a cease nd disist letter, Pac responds by changin the beat nd adding a second verse dissin Dre, just my theory.
yup that's why the second verse the pissed off verse was added with the words cease and desist punk trick what a dumb move cross death row now who you gon' run to.. cause like Danny boy said they used the beat / one that was only a little different (more to the bass line) but they had to change it cause they received a cease and desist order to not use the beat.. Originally Dre. was not going to be dissed but disses were added to the end of songs cause when Dre left things were quiet or kept behind closed doors / private and just done on a "professional" level.. but once they tried to move on and things they were trying to do were blocked because of that and it's things they had to change and / or be postponed.. They got mad cause Dre was being a lil bitch at the time cause some of who he was got addressed and exposed to the label before it was aired out over the beats & in interviews..
If you actually listen to this interview, Danny's story is inconsistent. He says........ - He was at the fight with Pac and Suge, and that he was present when they saw Orlando - Then he says, he was at the hotel and realised he had stains on his pants so he had to try and go to a mall. Suge and them left for the fight and by the time he called them, the fight was over so Suge said meet them at the club, so he went straight to the club to wait for them, but they obviously never showed.... Which one is it Nicca? Either you was at the MGM or you weren't?
Pac recorded all that material so fast because he only sign to death row to get outta jail believe it or not Pac was broke so he signed to death row he knew suge had the money to get him out pac aint have a million dollars to put up for bail. Remember his words every move is a calculated step. He owed them 3 albums suge aint expect pac to record 3 albums that fast thats why all eyes on me is a double disc. Pac had a purpose he realized he was making all the record lables rich instead of himself. His plan was to start his own label. I hate they took his life man i get emotional talking about pac he is truly the mike jackson in hip hop
He had that premonition that he was marked for death and didn't have much time left on this earth. Bein completely honest, I'm a white dude from the mountains of North Carolina and prior to 2pac I hated all rap and unfortunately was racist as a mf'er. But slowly after hearing a 2pac song I started opening my eyes and shedding that unfounded hatred in my heart. To this day I thank the person who introduced me to 2pac. I cried when Pac was shot, I cried when he died on the 13th, which coincidentally is my dad's birthday. GO BRONCOS!! SB50 CHAMPS!!
Some of the comments are never about the video and why do some of you even care for his sexual orientation? you ppl have issues and obsessed with another man's sexuality.
ARE Y'ALL SURE SUGE DIDNT SMASH THIS DUDE. CUZ THEY WERE ALWAYS TOGETHER. PLUS HE SAID HE WAS ALWAYS IN THE KITCHEN COOKING JUST LIKE A BITCH WOULD. I STILL GOT LUV 4 DUDE THOUGH
For the record, Teddy Riley & William "Skylz" Stewart produced "No Diggity". Get it right Vlad. Dre's only featured on that song. Blackstreet & Dre were label-mates, on Interscope Records. Dre barely produced tracks, on DeathRow. I hate when people claim Dre made "No Diggity". When the production style for "No Diggity" sounds nothing like Dre's.
+Mr. Chevy Miller Nobody cares though, the song was featuring Dre(who was and is a mega superstar), so regardless of who produced it, Dre was the superstar on a track intended to be a hit single....so Tupac and Death Row wanted to humiliate Dre by stealing his perceived song, and dissing him before it even came out. BTW, Tupac dissed Teddy Riley too on the original unreleased Toss It Up(No Diggity beat).
Chris Booker Clearly, you cared enough to comment. Are people these days angry about truth? So you're saying Teddy Riley wasn't a "superstar"? Clearly Michael Jackson thought he was. No Diggity would've been a hit without Dre on that song. "Death Row wanted to humiliate Dre by stealing his perceived song" Yea, well for along time people thought No Diggity was a Deathrow beat, Dre took with him when he bounced. Not true Teddy produced that joint. But the real reality was William "Skylz" Stewart already had the drums & loop sample. Teddy just added a few piano stabs. So really, Teddy is the Co-Producer. Yea Deathrow was salty at Dre for being on a very, very successful song after leaving. But Dre is an afterthought on No Diggity. He had only a lousy 8 bars on that damn song. Without Blackstreet the song wouldn't be what it was.
Anyone ever think that stain was purposely put on Danny Boy's clothes so he wouldn't be in the car with suge and Pac think about it when he showed up and the fight was over and he was told to go straight to 662
