The craziest thing about the whole death row Era is pac was only on death row for 9 months. Everything that happened and all that music he made in less then a year.. That's just insane.

Pac didn’t realize that Dre was tired of the hood stuff. Dre was more upset about how death row was the opposite of what he was trying to do with suge so you saw less of him. Most likely setting himself up to leave into his own label which happened lol. You look at Dre life and the others , who wouldn’t distance themselves?
True Dre realised Suge was no good and was dissed by everyone on death row because of it. But that was his Karma for betraying Easy E and trying to have Suge kill him.
To be fair I always found that the whole danny boy story showed that suge wasn't just a brute thug, I think he has to be in the movie purely cos it shows a big side to suge personality same as the mothers day shit, don't just glorify the gang mentality without showing the positive shit they did, never has another record label ever given so much back to its community and culture
I used to be mad a Dre when I was younger but now being that I’m older I just feel Dre foreseen what everybody else couldn’t see. He saw the downfall and destruction before everybody else saw it. Regardless I don’t think Pac would have lived past 25. I feel his time was set and if you look at it him staying any longer may have caused him the impact that he have on everyone. But Dre I just felt like that wasn’t his energy and now that I’m older I can clearly see why.
Indeed. It's always interesting to look at things in hindsight, and especially, well hopefully, with a bit more inquired wisdom. Dre was the smartest man in the industry, at the time, to realize getting off that eventual sinking ship at Death Row, was the move. Love the Row's legacy, but any sane adult could foresee that the constant drama over there wasn't sustainable.
No one can take away the FACT that Danny Boy was there. Suge almost knocked him over on the 95 Source awards stage after saying "Come to Death Row!" I ain't Mad at Ya video and song, etc. If you're gonna tell the story, be accurate. #respect

Suge already did enough for a alot of people around that time. Danny boy was like kid & Suge took him in gave him a career. The whole company fell apart because of that night in Vegas. Deathrow was going to go places. Maybe in time if things were different Danny boy would've been given his opportunity to shine

Dre had no interest in being on Death Row anymore when Pac got there. He thought that he had more control being in charge of the talent, and once Suge brought in artists, that didn’t sit right with him. Then all of the extra stuff Suge and the homies were doing at the studios to people, he wasn’t with that. Dre was already working with Jimmy Iovine on a plan to get his own imprint so he wasn’t really trying to be around anymore.

I think DB wasn't seen as Death Row in their eyes due to his image. I think Death Row were concerned about having an image of "gangsters" and Danny Boy to them was an singer to keep around in a since because he sounded good. If he had more the image of Nate Dogg they would add him. Sadly, if you come out clean there's no reward. Had to get your hands dirty in death row to be recognized. To Danny Boy is an image that labels should want to have, these are the people who are likeable by the media.

DB should’ve been in PAC’s story, too but those guys did the best they could to get it out. I salute them always regardless Danny Boy would be in the scenes where Pac and Suge were having fun in the beach making videos with KC and JoJo, and all of toss it up filming; SNL, Source on stage and all the studio sessions. The Vegas Ride, The meetings with MC Hammer and the program Tupac put together for Black activism.

I think you're forgetting the background that pac came from outside of the short time he spent at that performing arts school in Baltimore. It's a reason he was targeted the way he was. You're also forgetting that he was young asf when all of that was going on he had only been 25 for not even a whole 3 months when he passed.
