He's famous, they all know who he is. Even the new recruits are told about him in advance because of how much he does for the police station and the town. He has donated tons of money and gear to them. He's also highly supportive of them. They all know him and he knows many on a first name basis.
It’s not illegal to interact with police, if you get arrested for making light hearted conversations as normal humans do, you need to move far far away from that town.

Temple Texas for example, was at a party and the host lost his 2 ounce bag of cocaine, he called his police buddies (on duty) and they brought a drug dog to find their lost bag. That’s just scratching the surface. If you think all police are held responsible, you need to wake up. They ain’t defunding police and losing 80,000 active officer jobs for no reason. The people are done being bullied and tortured by corrupt people. I’m not saying this is going to happen, i’m saying it does happen.

Ya also the one that folds at the first sign of real tension. Caught a mate just like that stealing from me a couple times before. On the third time he took some weed from me so I waited for everyone to leave before I pulled him up on it. Tried to call our other friends for help so I took his phone and he started crying.
