@@ChucksDream Well, you asked. :D I think it's great if people stay humble and don't consume more than they need. Although this could have been a joke. He is a comedian after all and regularly says all kind of things just for the laughs. About the stained shirt: He said that he accidentally packed the wrong shirt. He didn't bring it stained on purpose. It's something that happens to everybody, but most people try to hide it. I think it's great when people are honest about these things, because then all of us can feel more relaxed about making such mistakes as well. Pretending to never make such mistakes creates issues for everyone. But as someone with ADHD knowing that he also has ADHD, I know that both accidentally packing the wrong thing and saying "weird" things without much of an inner filter, are very typical for neurodivergent people. Only thing that bothers me is to read such judgement and know, that I am also regularly being judged on my forgetfulness and "weak speech filter"... Luckily he made a successful career out of some of his ADHD traits (divergent and associative thinking, hyperactive thinking, being able to hyperfocus, impulsive tendencies..), and hopefully I will do so as well. That helps with dealing with people who quickly judge others for being different. Nothing new or interesting can happen when people don't dare to be different and "weird".

I saw Danny in Pinter's "No Man's land" at the National Theatre back before he was famous (I had no idea who he was.) He had such stage presence and his performance jumped-out. Genuinely. You're right. He's capable of so much more than poorly-scripted soaps and those awful low-budget gangster films. He needs to change agent.

@@TheAwesomestAmber It's because to Americans, accents aren't really a class or identity thing to the same degree, but they're more just a hindrance to understanding. And to the extent that it is class-related, it's more accepting to reduce the distance between yourself and others, it's not something people play up usually.

Some ppl do catch accents very easily and can't help but relay them back.
