chatel is a rad little place, small but rad - certainly wasn't that smooth when we went there last - the year the mega got flooded was one to remember, chatel was flooded , morzine, les gets - rain rain rain and massive holes woooohoooo

Some of the best skiing aswell. I was lucky enough to go as a kid and been every year since. Summer or winter it's my favourite place in the world. Your a lucky man mate.
if you have gopro 7/8 w the stabilization, mount it on your chest in good light conditions. mount it on your chin in bad light with stabilization off. you gonna get more dynamic more real footage. this was you flying down the hill hitting huge jumps and it looks like a bike ride to grocery store, it's too smooth and too tall to give the feeling of speed . it doesn't consume me , doesn't me make part of your ride.
@@lamefart the gopro nowdays are op, and fine for chest mount use. however their stabilization struggles in bad light. for those conditions, whatever mounted to your chin(head) is a lot more stable . i have 7 without hypersmooth and it's just great on chin mount.
