When I was 11 I walked into a proper tackle shop for the first time, after staring at eveything on the shelves while my parents done their weeks shop, I left and on a little table was Korda's 'Carp, Tackle, Tactics & Tips - Volume 5'. The cover took my notice because I had never seen a 70lb carp, I had only ever fished canals prior to that-catching roach and perch. This DVD blew my mind, I had watched John Wilson and Matt Hayes when I was even younger, but nothing had ever made me want to get out fishing more. I am now 20 and still addicted to carp fishing, with absolutely no intentions of stopping. Thanks to Danny and the rest of the guys at Korda.
Respect to Dan. He's put more into fishing over the years than he's taken out and will leave a legacy. Korda is one of the success stories of our sport and that should be celebrated.
still remember when he used to deliver his leads to our shop him and his dad doing the rounds. top bloke always looking to help people and with the embryo carp project making lakes fishable on a decent price. genuine guy with plenty of time for anglers when you meet him.

Danny, I am from Romania and I have to say that you're my fishing guru. I didn't have someone to teach me how to fish for carp. I've watched all of your dvd's and shows. By watching them, you became my teacher. So, I have to thank you for every carp I catch, and dedicate all my PB's to you! Cheers mate!
I’m lucky enough to have fished with Danny and some of the Korda guys due to my job. I can defiantly say after meeting him and spending 48 hours with him, he is 100% genuine. Why people troll those that make money out of fishing I’ll never understand. In America he’d be praised but yet in England it’s almost dirty to earn a profit, I really struggle to understand that mentality. Keep up the good work everyone at Korda and nice one Elliot for putting this out for free 👍🏻

Yes get in.Once went to a show in Doncaster at a pub called my grandfathers moustache and afterwards there was a guy with three boxes of leads trying to sell them.Look at what he’s achieved and what a lovely humble man he is.Well done Danny.

Very Interesting listening to Danny. I am one who I guess has fallen into the trap of guessing what a person is like in this industry. Dan seems very down to earth and seems to have kept that way. Sadly some I’ve noticed have started out nice people and have clearly changed since being successful in fishing. Fair play to Danny

Meet Danny at the big one when korda Was just making out on the carp tackle he had time for use on his stand and helping with advice. He had respect for anglers who were fishing before him . And still does . He has brought so much to carp angling and helping us on the way . Keep going mate the team you have are all top anglers and korda are top notch .
I've been fishing for over 30 years and Dan's terminal tackle is absolutely 100 percent the best I've ever used ,I use his hooks lead clips ,line everything is top quality - keep up the good work dan 👌👍
I am just a regular family guy, met Danny on Wellington country Park in 2010, i was in Hole In The Bush swim ( had the money to join for a few seasons, skint now so on canals haha ) , he walked in had a nice chat and then asked to BORROW my marker rod as he had forgotten his, lol proper down to earth salt of the earth chap, pity other's cant be more like him and myself, haters gonna hate .......... and blank unhappy irl , best wishes to all in the New Year !!!!!! Great insight very humbling also very refreshing to see, to many people out there let success go to there heads nice to see it's the little things that still make the biggest impact. I'm quite new to fishing I fished over thirty years ago when I was a kid, how things have changed, my knowledge of fishing was putting a maggot or worms on a hook with a float throw that in the water then sit and hope, after seeing all the new bits of tackle in my local shop it all seemed a little daunting i didn't really know where to start so I jumped on RU-vid and started watching Korda videos along with a few others but mostly Korda ones, from starting to fish again around 6 month ago knowing pretty much nothing to now knowing what kit to buy what rigs to use what baits try and what tactics to implement it's all come from watching your videos on RU-vid they've helped me immensely as well as being fun to watch. My PB is 21lb 11 at the moment I hope to beat that sometime soon but to be honest it doesn't matter how big they are i get a massive buzz whatever I put on the bank, great work guys keep it going and thank you.
Really enjoyed this video, I love Danny‘s views on equality throughout his company. And it is very interesting to hear that Danny done two weeks bailiffing on his own water, which included cleaning toilet showers ECT It’s always a sign of a good governor to get his hands dirty and do the jobs that his employees are employed to do.
A genuine normal bloke with ambition and determination surrounding himself with like minded friends and colleagues is clearly a winning formula and he deserves his rewards. Great peice of film.

This is was a very refreshing video showing that Danny is a decent bloke and hardworking, I have been buying the hooks and leads for many years now and for me they are the best on the market and really enjoyed the original underwater series and a Korda video from many years back with Danny and Terry Hearn floater fishing ...... respect.

Danny is very humble and never struck me as the founder of Korda. In fact I watched him for a long time not knowing that he was the inventor of one of the biggest brands in fishing. He just doesn't act the way you'd assume someone of great success would. Reminds me of a modern day John Wilson.

I’ve loved fishing for many years and I’ve watched many dvds but nothing affected me more than the underwater series, it was absolutely ground breaking and a hell of a lot of fantastic tackle from all the fishing tackle companies came from that footage and you’ve got to be so proud of that
I have been watching and learning everything I can about Korda products and interviews over the past couple of years, everything I buy is pretty much Korda-mainline as I have seen how successful it has been for all you guys at Korda. I can’t wait to get beat my PB in the near future and it will be all down to you guys and all the tips you give out on your videos. I am defiantly booking a fishing trip to Gigantica in the next 12 months or so….thank you for doing the things you do to ensure everyone has an opportunity to catch some real monster carp! This guy has helped angling today . His safety standards on fish . He's brought the angling industrial to a level where we want to be on the bank. Those non anglers would love to stop the sport . Top geezer it's good see a British success story, we hate winners in this country so there'll always be haters. This man helps a lot of people pay their way in life so best wishes to him. I'm a small business owner but nothing on the scale of Danny's and its not easy at all, your mind is business mode the majority of the time. No doubt he's worked hard from day 1 and still does work hard so fair play to him, it's good that's he's grounded and not changed. He's pushed carp fishing forward with products and films and I will be honest I'm not a fan of everything he does but that's just my opinion and i wouldn't call the guy over. People might think "who's this guy constantly pushing all these different bits of tackle on us and why not just keep it simple" and I did once if I'm honest but I was wrong too. He's provided anglers with education, options of how to fish (which you don't have to try) and given people employment opportunities globally. Oh and the tackles great.
Guna get stick when youre at the top of the game, weve all got a bit if not alot of korda tackle in our armoury, and for that reason alone he deserves all the respect you can give him.
Really nice to see Danny away from the lake to talk about his employees his company and himself I thought it was a revealing insight into Danny’s day to day living. When he was talking about the guy who phoned him to moan about leads I think you could see he did get upset by it although he shrugged it off and yes some Korda products are more expensive but I will still use them as I don’t think there is anything better.so carry on developing new products carry on filming because I will keep watching and will keep buying your products. RIP William 😢 much I hate the way our passion has become so commercialized I've grown up in the game for almost 40years and ali and danny obviously I've watched you all grow and the products and positive things you have given I'm forever grateful and promise I will always have a piece of you guys in my tackle box to hand to my son when I'm gone.
