I'm 17, autistic, and deal with depressive feelings. Today, I just didn't have a good day and I just broke down, knowing really scary thoughts were going through my head. I fell on my knees and prayed earnestly, and I felt better. I then heard this song run through my head and then I listened to it here. If that's not God healing the broken heart I have, then I don't know what is. Thank you.

My niece past away in July. She was only 24. She had (ITP) idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura a rare blood disease and it caused her to lose her spleen than eventually her legs and arms.Jessica her gave her life to Christ the same day she had her spleen removed. She was a fighter, and she never gave up. Nine months after her amputations she lost her battle. . I know that she is in God's hands, but it hurts deeply when I think of how long it will be till I see her again. Its been tough. I just wanted to thank you Danny for this song it gets me through the day......

Danny, I don't know if you ever read these comments or not. I don't know if you even monitor this page. I just wanted to say "Thank You." Thank you for having the courage to follow where God leads you! Thank you for having the courage to not only share the tragedy of the loss of Sophia, but to live publicly a life that teaches us that there is ALWAYS a reason for things in our lives...that God ALWAYS brings good out of the most unthinkable circumstances if we will just have faith in Him, and follow His lead. Because of this song, I finally have been able to look at the darkness and despair of my life in a new light. I have finally been able to surrender my past to God. I was severely abused in every conceivable way as a child until age 6. I was adopted when I was 8, but I became abusive myself at the age of 11-12. I was institutionalized at the age of 12 & my family abandoned me at the age of 14, on my birthday. These scars have run deep for a long time as I am now 36 (almost 37). I shared my story for the very first time on Facebook today. It scared me to death, but it has been one of the most liberating things I have ever done in my life. I finally understand that God allows bad things to happen to us so we will draw close to Him and He can show us how much He truly loves us. I will pray for you and your family brother. I don't know you personally, but I will someday. Until the day our Lord & Savior comes to get us I will continually lift you up in prayer and be with you in spirit! God bless you Danny!!!

MY TESTIMONY....I was HOMELESS a year ago ....and I surrendered my whole heart and life to JESUS....I saw that sun shining ...and now I finally realize...its all gonna be okay because JESUS will be there with me every step of the way.....now I have my own apartment and I repeated my senior year of high school last year and I finally have my diploma and I have a job and most importantly I have JESUS .....I had to hit ROCK bottom to CHANGE ....and I'm so thankful I did ....because now I am in a much better place because of it

I was unfortunately informed that the position was unavailable. I mean it was a blow to my heart because I wanted to get out so bad. Instead of “there’s better days still up ahead,” I hear, “there’s not a debt still on my head.” I got to see Danny at the Rise out of the dark tour with Mandisa, and Jasmine Murray. Pre-show, I warned my lady friends to compose themselves when Danny came out. I even joked about the possibility of him calling the law on our bible group. Then, when Danny came out, I jumped on top of my chair and squealed, “Its Danny Gokey!” Half way through the show, I started to feel bad for really eating my words. I was mid-aisle, arms raised in praise to God, and my bible instructor was right beside me doing the same thing. It’s not an embarrassing moment, but a cherished memory of “the time when Karen asked God to teach her humility.” I’m SO excited to see Danny at Winter jam 2019! My friends and I will be serving with Premier Productions. Of course I’ll joyfully go where I’m called, but I hope I get called to Danny Gokey’s table.
