Is it even possible for two band members to look any more different than these two fine gentlemen? They look like they perform in completely different areas, not the same music group.
Jumping rope is actually a great warm up idea for a drummer. He’s getting the wrists and ankles warm and loose by stimulating the forearm and calve muscles. Great 60 second warmup 👍
Lets take a moment to appreciate the level Danny has to play at at 60 years old. Thats retirement age for most people and he is still pretty much at the top of his game in an incredibly demanding role. Edit: "the age where people start retiring" is that better for the 30 people who commented haha
@@darrellbernardo1713 Don’t even compare the two. Yes they’re both physically fit, but Anthony Kiedis hasn’t been able to get through a chili peppers song without sounding like leaned out beach bum for 20 years. Danny is a machine.
@@darrellbernardo1713 You can't compare a 60 year old, 6ft 5in machine of a drummer who has to drum for 5 to 15 minute long live songs to the 59 year old singer of RHCP. Two totally different types of musicians there.
@@blitzmotorscooters1635 there’s not much for him to hold up though really as the whole band blows terribly. Its not a compliment to call someone the back none of tool hahahajaah
I'm 68 and I do this every morning. I don't do it for my drumming I do it for my fitness. Glad to see I have something in common with Danny. Wish I was up to his standard of drumming tho!
The stark difference in fashion choice is disorienting. You've got Danny's usual basketball attire, Maynard's punk biker Pink Flamingos look, Adam's golfer pants and work shirts, and Justin's an Amish lumberjack.
Don't get me wrong man I love Tool one of my favorite bands just sayin tool isn't the only 90s band going stong every mentioned band are going very strong
A guy with a mohawk and a guy in a basketball jersey, both just doing their thing. Pepper in some girls and a couple of nerds and this looks like walking through the halls of my high school 25 years ago.
😂😂 I love this! It’s awesome to see the guys cut up and have some fun. You hear stories about how band members will get so sick of each other when they’ve been on the road for a long time. It’s nice to see they can have some fun with each other.
Cavs, fucking traitor! Lol. I love how Danny has a basketball jersey for every team in every city he plays in. I would love to talk to him about basketball and music.
That silver haired guy on the Left I Believe is the Current bass player for ZZ TOP. He's was a highly sought after guitar tech for a LOT of Big Names. That's why he worked with Dusty Hill. That doesn't look like a Current Maynard Hairdo. Looks like old footage. I could be Wrong but I doubt it.
@@Glitch-nr9ct Shorts and a sleeveless shirt would seem conducive to playing heavy music under stage lights. I wouldn't say the same about a fruity costume, but if you like pozzed capeshit movies then you probably have bigger problems than how a respected drummer likes to dress.
@@robertdog 😂 I knew the fan girls would come running at me claws out swinging their purses. Relax bro, I love Danny too but the costumes are dopey. I would say that to my own brother.
It’s more of a comfort thing. Flailing your arms and legs around for 2 plus hours can make you work up a sweat. I was lucky enough to chat with Taylor Hawkins(RIP😞), for a few minutes when the Foo Fighters were on their Concrete and Gold tour. He joked about his skinny ass was always wearing just a sleeveless T-shirt and shorts on stage because he works up a big sweat 😂. I don’t think I’ve met a more down to earth guy like Taylor. Between him and Joey Jordison dying, we we’ve lost some incredible drummers..😞.
