Exactly. They would never let their kids get near the ghost portal. The show would be so much darker if they lost their first kid to their experiments.
It would be a bit strange that Jack and Maddie not only said nothing of their lost child, but when they got the portal open, they didn't immediately go searching. They rarely seem to be in and out of the ghost zone like the trio.
Their motivations for hunting ghosts are very clear; they enjoy it. To suddenly introduce the idea that ghosts captured or killed their first son would add a layer of emotion that just isn't present in the show
How do we know what they do when the show isn't on or when they aren't on screen? Maybe that's why they had a hard time figuring out that Fenton was Phantom...cause they had Flynn on their mind.
Technically, Alicia isn't a Fenton, though... Right? Alicia is Maddie's sister, which means her last name is what Maddie's was before she married Jack Fenton

He’s basically a conspiracy theorist who figures out that fenton and phantom are the same person and tries everything in his capacity to expose him, but no one believes him. He is a favorite among fans, I recommend you check the content fans make about him. Not so long ago, fans gave Wes two brothers. Kyle Weston: a guy who despite living in a literal haunted town, doesn’t believe in ghosts and thinks all the ghost stuff is just a big publicity stunt (created to be an anti-wes in a way). And Easton Weston: oldest of the three and around the same age as Jazz. People on tumblr were joking around saying that Flynn was Butch’s attempt to replicate the popularity of the Weston siblings (Flynn looks almost exactly like Wes)

Where danny thinks his parents are having marital issues but it turns out the anniversary Maddie was talking about was her sister's divorce anniversary. Aunt Alicia's pretty cool lol she's this butch hillbilly who hates men. Also i love Danielle and shes my favorite.

Jack and Maddie don't even completely believe ghosts exist at the beginning of the show. Also how could an entire 10-year-old disappear and no one mentions him? The parents, fine, but other relatives, classmates, teachers? Not to mention Vlad definitely would have mentioned this to pique Danny's interest.
Uhhh.... The only reason why Vlad never in his half life mentioned Flynn Fenton was because he didn't know anything about him..... I think Jack said something about Vlad vanishing after he was out of the hospital

I feel the same! If Jack and Maddie had a missing son who they thought was taken by ghosts, they would bring him up. They are not subtle characters. If this character was to become Canon I don't think he'd need to be related to the Fentons
Flynn being 10 when Danny is 2? That means he would be 22 during the 20 years latter college reunion that is happening during Vlad's first appearance in the show proper. Something about that doesn't add up right.
Your math is incorrect when Danny would be 10 and Flynn would be 18 then four years later when Danny was 14 Flynn would be 22 so during the 20 years later he would be 42

As you point out that means Flynn would be 22 at that time... which is what I said. And since that reunion takes place 20 years after the last time Jack and Vlad talked. That means Flynn would have already been born and a 2 year old by the time Jack Vlad and Maddie were working on the portal.
Why remake the portal's history when natural portals exist? Plus if their goal for the portal was to save their son, why waste time after its working again? This idea is made after the show so we can ignore this plot hole
Isnt Walker the source of justice in the Ghost Zone? Or the Observers? Overall opinion is cool idea but 14 years after a show ends is not a time to create Canon material for the core cast's backstory.
Walker isn't really justice. He is just some evil 😈 rule obsessed lawyer. Who imprison people for rules he made up. Given that the fact that he flat out invaded the world 🌎 of the living. He doesn't care about the rules, he just cares about what he thinks the rules are. He makes the rules and does whatever he wants. He is literally a dictator.

I like how Dark Danny's design is similar to Exodus. I also like the idea of Danny finding out that he has an older brother who was taken into the Ghost Zone when he was a child, and the possibility of them working together once Flynn remembers who Danny is. This idea would also give a better insight on why Jack and Maddie are ghost hunters and have a deep hatred for ghost despite having a ghost portal in their house instead of destroying it and not wanting anything to do with ghost at all.
I don’t know... based on Jack and Maddie’s personalities I don’t think they would hide a whole kid from their other kids. If anything they would be very open as to why it’s so important to them to complete the portal. The other kids would feel bad for their parents, they’d get really annoyed with them when they’re talking about it but deep down would understand why they’re trying so hard and would just leave them alone to their work.
I will admit, it’s an interesting concept. I’m not considering this as cannon based off the show, but only because we have no evidence within the show to support this idea. Though, the possibility that this could have happened AFTER Phantom Planet… that would certainly make it cannon. I mean, you are the creator of the show. You know the Phantomverse more intimately than anyone! So, if you say this were to happen after Phantom Planet, this would have been a good pilot episode to a fourth season! Say, for example, the first episode for the fourth season would be set in ___ amount of years after Phantom Planet (maybe one year? Two?). There’s a routine to Amity Park. Danny and Sam’s relationship is strong, but that doesn’t mean they don’t argue. His sister has eased off, and his parents have finally stopped panicking over his safety every two seconds and have become integral to the team. (They make his gadgets, more than likely.) Perhaps, Jazz is awakened with a nightmare. She thinks she sees Danny being taken, but it’s actually her older brother. She tells her parents and Danny about her “nightmare”. Maddie and Jack look at each other with worry, before Maddie tells Jazz that it was a memory, not a dream. And the child wasn’t Danny. It was their older brother. Naturally, it causes an uproar. Jazz is distraught, stays in her room. Danny is furious. I mean, he has a brother?! Who lives in the Ghost Zone?! How could he have never seen him? Danny is questioning himself, his entire life. And maybe that brings out this sequence of events.
Hell yeah, I always wondered what it would be like if Danny and Jazz had an older brother. And Flynn being connected to the portal and the Ghost Zone is a cool way to connect him more to Danny (even though the plot needs a little more details and editing not be entirely convincing) I love this idea, I’m always down for sibling/family episodes.
Can we talk more about Danny and Sam's relationship I feel that when the show ended we didn't get to see much of an aftermath between them and there future?
All we saw was they were still dating in college. And Danny got an apartment in the ghost zone to get away from the fans and such because he's a celebrity. And he would bring Sam back with him so they can be alone for a date.
@@notazula Remember in the episode that takes place in the future. There was Box Lunch. Daughter of the Box Ghost and the Lunch Lady. Even if the timeline changed due prevent Dark Danny from happening. It shows ghosts can have kids.

Long ago, you said that if Danny Phantom would have had another season, you have made Dani being adopted by Jack and Maddie, becoming Jazz and Danny's little sister. For another “Phantom Phantasy”, maybe at some point in the future, Danny dies and the whole world mourns, but afterwards, a new kid phantom comes to town? Kinda like how Miles Morales becomes Spider-Man after Peter Parker dies.
Heard they're bringing back iCarly... look, I know you hear this a lot, but bringing this series back would make so many 2000's kids happy, and it would connect to a lot of different generations, from little kids to adults who remember it. Nah, definitely not. A writer can write a plot but if it’s not officially published, it’s still just a draft. He basically made a fanfic oc of a show he helped make. Cool premise, but non-canon

Hey Butch this is a great story! Hopefully nick gives you the freedom to expand the danny phantom universe. You clearly still have the passion and an amazing fan base for it. I noticed a lot of marvel references and comparisons in this one. Have comic books always been a source of inspiration for your work?
