those are good options too! I decided to use the watchdog sword because it has a similar design with the wide gray blade and ornate hilt. plus with any flame ash of war it looks like when the devil sword is activated and has that orange streak of fire in the middle.
This is very well done man, you deserve a lot of views from the souls and dmc community 💪 I think I will steal the build just to have some stylish games 😎
this inspired me to make my own Dante cosplay. the armor is basically the same although I'm considering changing the chest piece. I switch between 2 Iron Greatswords, one with Sword Dance and the other with Piercing Fang, as well as 2 Knight's Swords with Raptors and BHS respectively. Sometimes I use Magma Wyrm's for Devil Sword Sparda, and Maliketh's is my Devil Sword Dante mainly because the AoW kinda looks like Judgement. Second slot is Ghiza's Wheel for Cavaliere, which is always fun to use lol. Third slot is the Night's Cavalry flail... for CERBERUS. On the left we have Pulley as Ebony and Ivory, Erdtree Seal for some incantations, and a Caestus for Balrog. Although I might just switch that with the Grafted Dragon thanks to you :)
The exact stats I used are at 7:27. You are right it is mostly a faith/strength build, but it's kinda all over the place because of the fact that I had to account for minimum stat requirements for some weapons. I basically put 20 points into everything except arcane. Strength was my main focus, with faith being 2nd priority. Endurance was also important since I needed the extra carry weight and stamina. You could probably spread the stats around more if you don't put as much into vigor like I did.
Magma Blade for Agni and Wing of Astel for Rudra. It's a bit funky with the conflicting faith/int scaling but doable if you meet both minimum requirements
I love it but I think bestial sling and flame sling would be good stand ins for the shotgun and kalina anne (and maybe honed bold for nevans ranged attack in dt)
Yeah bestial sling prolly would've been good to add in. I just didn't use incantations much since I wanted to focus on the weapons, but I think they'd be decent to use since faith is the only somewhat high stat in this build.
this looks like a fun build but Im not sure if the wing of astel is worth the min 20 int and 17 dex points, even in this vid it didnt do any damage lol
Watchdog's Greatsword, you get it pretty late into the game since you have to grind out killing the giant stone dogcat things when they show up as regular enemies in dungeons (I got mine in a dungeon at the mountaintops), but it has one of the best strength scalings in the game.
