I like both the UMVC3 focuses more on the electric guitar tune while MvCI focuses more on the soft voice with a nice beat in the background. MvCI pumps me up while UmVC3 keeps me focused to make that Dante comeback.
I like both themes. ultimate theme kind of belongs like in the opening scene of Blade with all the vampires bathing in blood. has that Religious ring to it with the vocals. infinite version sounds a bit less metal but it feels more demonic with the vocals. which fits since Dante huts Demons. and it really fits.
Devil May Cry is the game. Devils Never Cry is the song. We're talking about the fucking song, not the shit game. If you're gonna whine about it, at least do it on a video actually talking about it.
Nothing wrong with DmC, (if you don't look at it as part DMC series but at a standalone) is very good. Also Devils never cry was never even in DmC, so how could it get ruin?
Both are great for me :) Hope they will add Vergil with his third boss theme this time cause that's my favourite :) and of course Nero with Never Surrender.
I love both versions equally. The infinite intro makes me wish the whole song was that but it sped up as the song went on. And don't cut off the lyrics halfway, I'm pretty sure "blessed by my father" and "devil's never cry" are missing. 3 is just pure adrenaline and fits right in with DMC 3, but I wish there was more variety in certain beats. But I love the slow build up with the vocals and the overlapping like the original. Still amazing though.
The version that sounds like the original, though with the slightly bad clear voice section and no length > the version that you'd here at some kind of club and doesn't give off a similar feel to the OG Devils Never Cry
I like Infinite's theme a bit more than UMVC3 (even though the latter sounds like it's literally from DMC3). I only wish it was 20-30 seconds longer before they looped. UMVC3 is really good too, so don't think I hate it, 'cause I LOVE it.
I honestly never knew what Devil may cry was until I played umvc3, I got into it, bought all the games, learned a lot and I hate how capcom ruined him witha reboot, he finally returns in this game with a horrible look/theme and it honestly makes me wanna cry
Toughest call. 3's got too many competing layers and is very noisey, but the vocals are intelligible-ish and it's more faithful. I's feels simplified to a fault, as if unfinished. Vocals do sound cool, but song's also too short for me to appreciate them.
