That's one of my biggest gripes about this event. DMC is my second favorite Capcom series next to Mega Man, and I can't believe that they sidelined the collab this hard. The designs are so good that the sole image of Vergil Trigger Zero would put fear into the hearts of every UMvC3 player out there. The only thing that's missing is Axl as Nero. Still, I cannot believe that we didn't get a single event stage or even a boss fight to represent the DMC series. In fact, the Qliphoth was so lazily put on as a background, that I'm pretty sure they just took a screenshot and layered it behind the menu. We already have the Highway stage to begin with, and they could have used that as the basis for the 2nd level we see in DMCV. You can even re-use some of the Halloween skins for the enemies and slightly alter them into Demons. Unfortunately, we didn't get any of that. I would have loved to see the trio talk about the DMC games, when iCO would have been the candidate to gush about the complex depth of this series like she did in the Street Fighter event. My only guess as to why this happened is because of the newly rumored Monster Hunter mobile game, especially when Taicom (back when they were still part of Capcom Online Games) worked on Monster Hunter Explore. Production most likely got moved on to this newer project while X DiVE is being put on maintenance mode.
lmaaaao dive really is dead, glad I dropped it ages ago cause the effort is nonexistent these days, at least I can appreciate the dmc collab designs without having to be bored to death by the "gameplay"
This is the one-time collab where they're supposed to make it "special". The DMC franchise is so popular, and to not capitalize on it is just such a waste of potential. If a gacha is going to have a collaboration, they should go all-in and give us everything that they can. That means special events, new stages, new stories, and anything else they can think of, not just 'characters'. The fact that they didn't do any of that is just insulting compared to the MHR collab.
Lol X is ruthless the anime for the megaman series have always downplayed how ruthless mega man is and X are in the games they do not talk they just start blasting till the enemy stops moving
@@meganinten0078 I didn't before, but a certain fanart made me see it as white and I couldn't unsee it after that, so this version of him was even better to me because the white hair actually happened and it looks so good!
This is so impressively designed and so aesthetically appealing, which makes me sad that Capcom doesn't have the drive or motivation to release an actual Megaman game with these kinds of designs and inspiration and instead are just coasting along with adding these collabs to a money-sink of a Gacha phone game. Us fans want Legends 3, we want another X sequel, heck we'd probably make do with an Alternate Universe based Shooter/Hack & Slash/RPG hybrid with a custom protagonist.
Your summary slide. Again, still loving them. But have you thought about adding categories to give numbers to (e.g., PVP 9/10, Boss Raid 7/10, etc.)? I think this would be great especially to get a better comparison. Keep up the great work!

@@lazysaiya yeah incredibly sensitive lol. You'd be putting out update videos every other day to try and keep up with it. Makes sense, so maybe instead of numbers put high/medium/low? could be ambiguous enough where people would appreciate it while not being offended.

This event is must luck, got both new char and weapon. In passive skill, when in DT Mode, X Rainstrom can release additional attack that can kill blue ball. If you need to pick up an item, but you a bit below and late + fall down that cannot go up again, you can use X Rainstrom and get that item. Agree about why capcom not made original event, but just rerun old event. Why this video does not have the event? Usually all the new char has event.

Feels that his long animations during rainstorm kind of hurts his potential for raids Also for some reason, his Overdrive sometimes doesnt register any damage on anything in that stage if u noticed it. Could be a bug but yeah, probably not the best for raid. Should be better in other pve stuff tho
I say that X dante trigger is gonna sit comfortably in S+ for pvp, the current debuff meta ain't kind to anyone, but he sure has good matchups against some of the strongest units, but is likely to lose to true via, dive ico and daz, would I consider him an upgrade to shagaru x, hmmm a mean, maybe a side grade to pvp yeah but, don't know, maybe zero vergil next week is stronger.
I like how they can do all of this for Mega Man gotcha game. But when we asked for it to be done for real game, all of a sudden all these extra IPs of games are nowhere to be found from Capcom Smh
