You took me back to 70th 54years ago and that was the first song I played with a cheep and useless accordion that I borrowed from my friend you played as beautiful as the song writer wrote , in about 1880 by iovan Ivanovoc:from Romania ❤🇦🇲
Lucy, I appreciate this on several levels. The tune is very familiar and even though I'm not up to book 2 yet, I like that I have access to the sheet music. January 2nd I injured my right knee badly and have only been able to play by setting up cushions at the foot of the bed, where I can bend and take the instrument off it's stand, play and put it back without involving my legs. This has actually been good for me, as deprived access to sheet music and videos, I'm forced to concentrate and have made great strides with my l/r coordination. Before I second guessed myself and flubbed it, there was a special moment where I was providing the accompanying bass to basic piano warmups! I think if I'm careful I can safely get the accordion to the PC today. I've been studying the tutorial to this one. Also, thank you: the black borders around the note/chord lettering has done wonders for visibility ☺️🎼🎶🎵🎶🌺
Amazing walz composed by a Serb 🇷🇸, who was born in Timisoara ( present Romania), Jovan lvanovic ( Јован Ивановић or Josef Ivanovic or losif lvanovici or lon lvanovic). He composed it in 1880. In USA , it is frequently referred to as " The Anniversary Song ".
