It’s so hard to watch Dan struggle singing this. I don’t know how he managed to sing this tribute to his father only a few days after his father passed. This song is what Robert and Annie saw and then asked if they could play at Roberts funeral. Robert was terminally ill. Dan spoke to them and found out Roberts favorite Elvis song was Love Me Tender, so Dan recorded that especially for him. Dan is such an amazing person. If I’m not mistaken, you didn’t see the intro Dan did just before singing Love Me Tender. If you didn’t, I recommend you go back and check it out. Dan explains the story.
❤ I love this... but if I try to watch it I cry my eyes out... the pain is so apparent it just totally breaks my heart. I know he's dealt with it... it has been years... but this is so full of raw pain I can barely stand to watch it. Thank you for reacting to it tho... and sharing... Yes that is him and his dad
Roberta Gintz Have you seen Dan's rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Dan is from Brazil and they don't have a 4th of July celebration. Dan put the American Anthem out on July forth and it is sung the way it should be sung with loads of pride about the land of the free and the home of the brave. The reactor Nexialyst serves in the armed services in the USA. He was speechless after he watched it.
Thanks for your reaction. Just a suggestion, if you read the thumbnail before you start your reaction, you can sometimes pick up some valuable info. In this case, it tells you Dan's dad had just passed away.
and he could have run translate to see what was said at the beginning and end of the video. i don't understand why reactors can't take a couple seconds to be better prepared before their reactions. they pass on false information all the time. not very respectful.
I agree, don't have to listen to the song but do a little research or at lease read the credits when they come on screen. Sometime I want reach out yell out you got that wrong but is to late and give misinformation out and it can't be undone. Just my opinion. @@damsquotter
@@pyewackett5167 yes, ty, beginning to think i was the only one that was bothered by this. if they don't know anything about the song being covered how can they suppose to react to it being covered. if not familiar with the original, listen to it. they are only 3-4 minutes long. i only listen to reactions to get more information. otherwise, what is the sense. ok, rant over. peace!
Dan wasn’t trying to copy Elvis. This was his father’s favorite Elvis song and Dan just sang this as a tribute to him. I agree, there was only one Elvis, but Dan was just doing the best he could for his dad.
