If I'm not mistaken.... Dany wasn't even supposed to fight on that day. He was just there as a spectator but then he learned that Coban's original opponent dropped out at the last minute so Dany volunteered to fight him... That's probably why Dany is wearing normal clothing at the beginning of the video while his hands were being wrapped when usually fighters would be shirtless
Dany i think should have used the knees right from the start, he lost two rounds and allowed the shorter fighter to close the distance easier. Brilliant fighter.
@@closeredge5198 you gotta understand Thai scoring is completely different than western scoring. Composure means everything and desperate aggression means little. It’s weird but the more I’ve come to understand Thai scoring the more this decision makes sense. It’s a completely different idea to western scoring and way more about the cerebral aspect
@@JeffPenaify I do understand the scoring, I've fought in Thailand, and believe Dany Bill won this fight...especially if we're discussing composure at the end... it wasn't the only time in his career he was on the questionable end of scoring
---- If I were Judge, These are my scores. The blue corner wins by majority decision. Round 1 = Red corner 10 Points - Blue corner 10 Points Round 2 = Red corner 09 Points - Blue corner 10 Points Round 3 = Red corner 10 Points - Blue corner 10 Points Round 4 = Red corner 08 Points - Blue corner 10 Points Round 5 = Red corner 10 Points - Blue corner 08 Points ---- Red corner has 47 and Blue corner has 48.
Coban push forward for 3 rds, Bill did that just in last round which was his. If he would be same agressive from the start but he didnt. There was knockdown as well, So overall I think Coban won.
It's so wonderful fight,So i Watch it for another Time ever and Ever....Two champions really Two legends...incrédible fight.Dany the snake and the mangoust Coban...
Coban didn't really lose though, he won every round except the last, because he gassed put. Coban won more rounds, so he won the fight. Danny never even hurt him.
A voir absolument
@@theatlantean39 I think that strongest to finish plays out here. Yes Coban was a beast but would he have gone another round? Maybe Dany needed a warm up?
@@waltonsteve3 - What the hell are you talking about? 😂 There are five rounds, and whoever wins the most rounds wins the fight. Coban won 4 rounds, so he wins the fight. 🤦♂️😂
@@alexalvarez1111 in muay thai the only 2 last rounds are important and the technical display big scoring knees counter kicks punchs etc even sweeps and throw made Bill far more dominant. It's like 149-147 points even with the knockdowns expected from a pencher like Coban.
Did Coban decide that he was too good to even bother blocking ? It seems like almost all of Dany Bill's punches landed flush on his face and he wasn't even trying to protect himself.
I learned almost all of my Muay Thai from Coban (I'm still a noob). He once said, "Muay Thai, you have to know when to attack, when to protect, when to counter." Explicitly, he looks down on always trying to defend yourself and not hitting back.
One funny story. Coban and Kongnapa were teaching a kick catch. This particular kick catch you don't really block or move out of the way. I think I was moving out of the way too much. They corrected me and I said, "But doesn't that hurt?" They both broke out into hysteria, and then Kongnapa said, "That's why you do your sit-ups."
