Izanagi is a legendary tier technique Danzo used right away, Shisui had no idea that he was even capable of doing that nor did he even know about that jutsu. Shisui got uchiha'd by a non-uchiha.

In Itachi's Novel, they show that Shisui was poisoned by someone from the aburame clan, and he was going to die regardless. It's why he gave Itachi his eye and committed suicide.

i think that was the only way the show could have made it believable , if it went any longer , i don't think Danzo could have taken the eye...

Danzo was a most realist character in this unrealistic world, he was selfish, jelous, desperate for power and at the same time scared of death. That is exactly what a normal human is. Not everyone is ready to lay their life on the line or sacrifice for the sake of others. A brilliant writing for a befitting character.

You didn't understand Danzo's character very well. He is more than what you said. Anyway, a lot of naruto's fans don't understand the characters of this great anime, they believe the anime is only about Sasuke and Naruto.

@@PlagueFather I cant remember when these took place when it was aired, but it’s still “filler” in a sense because the anime catches up with the manga way too fast. So instead of putting original stories no one cares about then why not just adapt into the anime as “fillers” these novels that Kishi acknowledged. This CAN be considered canon in a way because regardless a Filler imo means it’s just a way for the anime to put content before it catches up to the manga bc for the life of me they dont want to cut these episodes into cours. Kakashi Gaiden was placed as a “filler” (it was totally placed in a random part of the anime instead of Pre-Shippuden/Post-Part I) when they realized Obito was important to be adapted.

Tobirama IMO was probably the best leader he did so much for the leaf, the other villages followed tobiramas example of the village system he created with the academy and everything else, he was a smart and good leader

He's the reason the Uchiha Coup even started, he was the reason Danzo and the Foundation were created (not necessarily bad, but created more problems down the line), he was the reason for the second great war that occurred after his death with his policies causing more strict behaviour down the line out of Hiruzen's control (Hamura especially since he was part of Tobirama's original squad with Hiruzen and Danzo). Again, I get where u guys are coming from, but accomplishments don't always equal leadership. Look how many ppl respected Tobirama and Hashirama for their POWER. No one respected Tsunade for her power even though she is a sannin! After Hiruzen (RIP) the elders even considered Orochimaru before her and Jiraiya!!! Once during the 4th Hokage era, then after the death of Hiruzen, they still never showed her respect and now she's the most legendary Hokage to take the seat opposed from ppl admiring her power! Not saying all other Hokage were shit compared to her and that she accomplished grandiose things, but the fact that she had the respect of ALL the other Kage and Madara, rebuilt the Leaf to the point that it was still on top even DURING the high alert status, and even laid the groundwork for the best Hokage after her not to struggle maintaining peace is phenomenal! Not even a top tier fighter with too many crazy gimmicks and she worked for all of her respect instead of using her status to guide her achievements (by that I mean how Tobirama is the brother of Hashirama and they were both the head of the "most powerful clan" which got them unprecedented respect, and Hiruzen as well being the student of the previous kage before him, and so on)

Thus, the Second Shinobi World War started. Every village was for themselves during those times. Tobirama didn’t cause the coup, obito summoning the 9 tails to destroy the leaf was the catalyst of the coup cause only the sharingan can control the 9 tails which made Donzo and everyone else suspicious of the uchiha, and they had every right to be, but danzo took it to the extreme and hiruzen was too fucking soft, the uchiha are also to blame for their demise for even trying to start a coup they didn’t see the bigger picture, only shisui and itachi saw the bigger picture of what a village is and what it means and what a coup d’état would cause unlike the clan.

I like Tobirama and I don't like danzo. I think the difference is the time they lived in and that I don't think Tobirama actually wanted the uchiha massacre, while DAnzou clearly wanted it. They both surely have their problems, but the difference is that danzou disregarded any other possibility to solve the solution going straight to the extreme. Meanwhile Tobirama's actions all were in the (ultimately vain) attempt to find the more peaceful solution.

Exactly, the point of donzo’s perspective is how would he know that madara’s goal is against the uchiha. There is no evidence suggesting that donzo could have possibly known what madara’s goal was. So therefore rationally (as hard as it may be to accept it) better to be safe than sorry and take care of the uchiha’s. Now, im not suggesting to “wipe” them out but see how they react and try to find out what’s going on before you make a move, thats what donzo was wrong about, he was right about being suspicious. If you see that they seem to be in good relations with madara and offered their help to him then you MAY have no choice than to kill them but exploring other options is always best and genocide should remain a last resort. Donzo may be a bitch but don’t let that cloud rationality of perspectives.
