Well.i mean that's exactly how it happened the show explained everything. Ao straight up said "the chakra in his eye belongs to shisui uchiha" so danzo wasn't fooling anybody and the people that probably did notice danzos eye or eyes on the street like a hyuga,,,,probably kept their mouth shut because they know hes a shitty person and those who maybe have said something were probably killed. Of course this is assuming someone with a byakuguan happened to just glance at him randomly. But most hyugas dont just wall around the village with their bakugan activated so it's all very interesting.

Would it be possible to use koto in that instance and then let taunted free of the genjutsu before anyone could catch on?

i like swagkage's theory that there are two variations of kotoakastukami with different strengths and weakness just like there are different variations of kamui

I thought shisui could use it pretty regularly just at great cost to his eye. I thought danzo was only able to use shisui's eye because of hashiramas cells but he had to wait ten years to do it again.

Facts Hyuga are also my favorite and they’re severely underrated. I felt like they killed Neji off cause they didn’t wanna develop them, in my opinion the Hyuga are way better fighters than the Uchiha.

Thats what i was thinking too. I don’t think Ao can actually determine that a specific person is under kotoamatsukami. I think he just remembered shisui’s abilities and the chakra of his eyes and figured things out from seeing the danzo’s eye.

Ao wasn't a real hyuga so he doesn't count. If shisui tried fighting a real hyuga he would of got Clapped and so would of madara

I like to think of it like Yin dojutsu and Yang dojutsu. The users of the sharingan have an inherent talent in Yin release (ocular genjutsu) while the byakugan users have an inherent talent in Yang release that lets them look at all physical energies in an radius around them no matter the obstacle (since yang signifies physical presence and existence, observation abilities are superior) making them a direct counter to the sharingan.

Ocular eyes? you mean like Physical Physics, the Spinal Spine, the Nasal Nose and the facial face ?

Neji had the potential to be as strong as Sasuke tbh they just didn’t give him any development in Shippuden and killed him off, honestly they should’ve gave the Byakugan stages just like the Sharingan like a Golden Byakugan (Momoshiki had it), Jougan should’ve been a stage for the Byakugan as well. Neji was already the strongest of his generation after Naruto and Sasuke in Shippuden.

Since the sharingan evolve through hatred, a emotion that blind people, make the byakugan evolve through something, like spiritual growth/awakening. But, due to the Hyuga being a clan stuck in its own tradition, they actually prevented themselves from having this sort of spiritual enlightment that would improve their eyes. Neiji and Hinata could have been influenced by Naruto and grown so much from is presence that their eyes started this very rare instense that even the Hyuga may have regarded as some old legend from time long gone. I think with Neiji, it could have come from him assimilating more and more what Naruto told him during their fight. For Hinata... maybe overcoming her own timid nature and lak of self-confidence... And, instead of the sharingan that is red, the byakugan may actually start to also visibly change, becoming blue, once again opposing the two. (just the same as how Uchiha tends to have black eyes and Hyuga all had white eyes, before Boruto and Himawari)

We all know there was a Hyuga somewhere checking out Tsunada while their byakugan was activated for other reasons

@@orianefaton1885 not as far as we know, since its never been used. danzo didnt use it on the samurai guy, he was gonna use it on madura or naruto. its basically spouse to be a jutsu that rewrites your very will. hence why itachi saved that one eye to use it on sauske, but then had to use it on himself to rewrite the commands he was given when he was brought back by edo tenesei jutsu.
