Usually dramas are always about how there's a perfect boyfriend and their amazingly beautiful relationship that rarely has actual real life problems. However what I love about this drama is that, Si likes shancai and she hates him. He tries his best to make her fall in love and finally he succeeds. He's not perfect, he's got anger issues, jealousy, he's childish often and she's too stubborn, she never admits her feelings etc. But it's just a story about a popular guy fell in love with a girl who stood up to him and how they overcame the problems because they love each other
one month later, still watching on repeat. i literally want this played at my funeral. so in death people can see what real love and high quality editing looks like.
You mean the scene after the girls show him the video? I understand why you don't like it, but I think that's quite necessary scene for their development, at least his. He is used to have everything he wants, he even stole his friend's toy, but suddenly he starts liking a girl and she doesn't like him back at all. In his way, he does everything for her to like him, he doesn't understand why it isn't working. That day he wokes up so confident and happy and then he sees the video. It's kind of natural for him to see it as a betrayal. In human relationships, he is very simply minded and in so many rom coms girls behave like that to the guy they actually end up with, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were actual people, who consider such behaviour a sign of affection. So I can understand his anger. I don't approve his right to it or his actions after, but I understand. But when he sees her crying because of what he is doing, something breaks in him. He realizes that her crying because of him is more hurtful than the feelings he had watching the video. And it's then when it's no longer a crush on emotionally kindergarden level, but when he starts actually loving her as an adult. The guy we've met at the start couldn't realisticly change into the person she loves back if anything that drastic didn't happen.
I'm watching this drama now and this version of Boys before flowers I like THE MOST. I don't know why but, I think, the main characters look very nice together. Your video is beautiful as always, I just adore you!

This is one of best MG videos I’ve seen in the mass, the song and editing are spot on. Like you, I was bored and a few friends got me hooked on this now. As a manga Hana Yori Dango fan, this version is the closest to the manga, even Yoko the manga artist gave her compliments to Dylan and Darren’s characters. Look forward for some more~

I love this drama but damn it did cost me some nerves watching it, cause I feel there was sometimes too much drama between these two, anyways the truth it doesn't matter what happened or how their relationship was on an exact point (if it was good/bad) they always cared about each other which is adorable :)
So most of the times there are love dramas on how there is a perfect guy who is so gentle and charming and the girl falls for him, how he pampers her with flowers and gifts. But this love story was a realistic one. People say that this relationship was toxic, it wasn't. Ah si used to irritate shancai, because he loved her and she didn't reciprocate and he didn't know how to show his feelings. It was his own way to be with her. With that said, he was the person who helped her financially, who encouraged her throughout, and who didn't leave even when shancai pushed him away. He is immature and childish but he really loved shancai, I think more than anyone. I pity him for having such a hard time loving her. I honestly didn't like him in the beginning because he was violent. But with each coming episode he became better and better and he grew on me. Huaza lei and shancai were my first ship. But afterwards I fell in love with ah si. What made ah si and shancai 's relationship more realistic is that they were extremely honest and comfortable with each other, and no one used to pamper or impress no one.
I miss MG sm, i have the feeling that i never found a show like MG again. I never will forget the characters. Always when i watch edits of just scences of MG i‘m sad and crying. I Love them both sm together ist hurts.
