I love Daphne this season. Her small appearances were significant and she lights up the screen. Plus, her being married and being a mother helped her gain so much wisdom
@@cecilia8515 Character flaws and development is always interesting. That's what makes it relatable, prompt thinking in the audience. I hope to see Anthony wiser more than anyone lol. He was kinda... in both seasons 😅
Awwww... that smile of hers in the last clip melts my heart. She is so happy that her brother has found love, has found the person he is meant to be with, just like she has. 😍😍😍😍
I imagine Daphne wrote to Simon while she was staying with her family filling him in about the dramas her family was going through, stuff like how Lady Danbury continued to be delighted by their son and how she doesn't know what to say to Anthony about the Kate and Edwina situation and wonders if she should ask the rest of her family if it's as obvious to them as it is to her that he has fallen for Kate.
Am not trying to reduce the roles of Daphne and Simon. I have only seen glimpses on you tube so maybe I am not getting the entire effect. However, I must say I am more captivated by the scenes of Kanthony. There is so much more chemistry and raw passion there. They made love seem so real and exciting. Anthony is a great actor.
I love how every moment we get with Daphne feels like an epilogue to her story. We get to see a bit of her life after her happily ever after which is amazing because we rarely have that opportunity in many TV shows and movies
Daphne is so beautiful, and in season 2, she’s a wisdom lady or turns into a brilliant mother. Her smile is so lovely and mature. I missed the Duke, Simon🥺 love their vibe 😭
Daphne was a shelter young lady when she met and fell in love with the Duke she is now the strong smart woman Simon always knew her to be wish they would do a season only for daphne and Simon and her children growing up it sad not to see Simon there with daphne she looks like she needs to cry miss Simon saying daphne and her saying Simon she missing him so much they should have given daphne more time with her son and less time with Anthony who wss always angry at her
The actor who played Simon, Regé-Jean Page, left the show. Hence why he has absolutely no appearance in this season. Additionally, your grammar is atrocious. I can barely understand a scrap of what you're trying to say.
I wish the actor who played Simon comes back or at least they find someone to replace him because a duchess is not normally seen without her husband in real life.
@@iamnotarobot2517 he left because he thought thay exiting on his own term would be better instead of being awkwardly asked to leave the show on the later seasons
They don't make it very realistic anyway. And Daphne is a strong independent person, she doesn't need to have Simon by her side all the time. And I loved Simon too, but this is Anthony's story not his.
i love that in season 1 daphne wore a lot of blue to represent herself as the diamond and still growing up, now in season 2 she's seen more with purple & white representing her maturity, and somewhat mix blue with red (simons colour) it makes purple lol
Daphne/Phoebe truly glows in Motherhood, Married Life and Duchesshood this season! EDIT: Off topic but I have a question regarding the women's fashion: Do they not show cleavage until they debut? Just unsure about the costumes and why Hyacinth plus Francesca still wear dresses with high collars?
Honestly i don't get people like season 1 Daphne is still super great, i don't get the hate she got, yet people loved Eloise and saw no wrong with her even with the duke simon
Although I understand why she's not in season 3. I would have loved to see her giving Colin her infinite advice and knowing Colin love Pen before he does.
Love a mature Daphne this season. I loved that she was the biggest shipper of #KANTHONY 💜💙💜💙 P.S. - Love this edit. Do you happen to have a Kate & Antony edit??
There are rumor that Season 3 will be focusing on Benedict and season three is a Cinderella story as it introduces Sophie Beckett who’s his love interest.
@@C.V.20 as of It today Season 3 protagonist is yet to be announced, could very well be Colin since they stated they will not follow the book order. Please let's not share fake news.
Instead of watching the whole season 2, I just watched this. For me, this season is very uninteresting and boring since I do not see my fave couple and it does not revolve around Daphne anymore. Season 1 is binge-worthy and I really liked it, but I guess it is the end of my Bridgerton journey, after all.
I thought the same and I gave it a chance this week and boy I realized season 2 is also great on its own. It was such a sweet slow burn and I’m quite surprised how giddy I became with the new couple 😂
I enjoyed it. The star of the show isn't one person, it's the Bridgerton family. Each sibling stands remarkably well on their own as a fully realized character. Seeing all of them and how they grow and develop even if they aren't the "star" of that season is one of my favorite parts
@@livo326 he was mentioned in the book but he had only a few lines he was at the bridgerton family home playing the family game with them he told Anthony not to curse around the ladies and then stupid evil Anthony said that daphne was no lady and then Simon said she is my wife now but stupid Anthony said she was my sister first but every one knows that the bond between a husband and wife comes over the bond between a brother and sister then Simon told the family that he needed to take daphne inside the house because it was raining and daphne was now pregnant those were I think Simon last lines in the book he may have had a few more lines in the epilogue 2 if you have not read eloise book then skip this part in the book he told eloise that he didn't love Kate when they first got married or he didn't not realize that he loved her no love match so Anthony told eloise you may not love sir Philip now but you can grow to love him
