Dr. Dara Horn talks about how we define Jewish languages in this excerpt from a discussion with Prof. Adam Rovner and Prof. Ilan Stavans. The discussion was part of the May 2016 Hebrew & the Humanities Symposium at the University of Washington, hosted by the Stroum Center for Jewish Studies.
Dr. Dara Horn received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Harvard University, focusing on Hebrew and Yiddish. She held the Gerald Weinstock Visiting Professorship in Jewish Studies at Harvard and has lectured at over two hundred universities and cultural institutions throughout North America, Israel, and Australia.
