Neil Sedaka was such an understated talent. He is such a humble, sweet guy, his star glittered in the sky just out of sight of most of us who knew him as a guy who made a bunch of hits in the 60's and then gone. He is a concert pianist, a prolific writer of music for himself and many, many other singers who have made hits from his music. He is Mr. Nice Guy with the million dollar smile and deserves our long awaited standing ovation. He loves to entertain with all that is in him, God bless him.
I was blessed to see Neil Sedaka in concert 2 years ago and I was blown away - - not only by his songs...but Neil is an extraordinary pianist. The guy is extremely talented.
Love him, but I had no idea that his daughter has an equally beautiful voice. Refreshing, and nothing like this now. Makes me feel so good. Thanks for sharing.
Woww!!!. My father used to tell me Neil Sedaka is his favorite singer from the past. But the daughter is equally goooood. Maybe she could sing Solitaire too. That would be owesome.👏👏👏
DAMN I never heard this until now. All I can say is wow! Neil and Dara - unbelievable and incredibly the best I've heard in 2013! The music - the voices , a match made in heaven.
Danny Whitfield they are daughter and father. I used to listen to this 45 over and over again when I was in Jr high, Only because I loved their voices together. I never knew or experienced anything they were singing about. 1 thing i must say is that I always felt a little awkward that their choice of duets were love songs.
Neil I have loved you always, your music was the best and now with Dara wow!!! She is the epitome of a great singer....her dad!!! Keep singing guys you are great!!!
Maybe someone can confirm... I think I was at the filming of this. I was a student doing a semester in London. It would have been early 1984. I was given tickets to a filming of a variety show Called "Live from Her Majesty's" it was filmed at Her Majesty's Theater on Haymarket. Can anyone confirm?
Thank you for uploading such a wonderful video. The original is Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell “Your Precious Love” 1967. By the way is Dara still active? Greetings from Tokyo, Japan.
She released a single on RSO records in 1978 and later an album called 'I'm Your Girl Friend' in Japan in 1982, both produced by David Foster. Neil later said that she just didn't want to go the star route. Check out her song "Huggin'", though. She could have been another Madonna if she'd wanted to.
+Jimena Salas Ugarte Incluso en los tonos altos de Karen encuentro diferencias con las de Dara, pero por ahí fugazmente noté algo similar como en la canción "Want you back in my life again" tal vez en eso podamos convenir. A sido un gusto; saludos.
