Darajani Market is one of the central markets in Stone Town, Zanzibar, Tanzania. If you're interested in daily life and culture, fruits and vegetables, fish and seafood make sure you visit the market.
I understand haggling but sometimes you overstepped and insulted people! You can’t go from 10,000 to 3,000! 27:38 That’s disrespectful! I will be there next week and I would never dream of asking them to drop the prices like that!
Also there is something super wrong about people from developed countries going to under developed countries to try and get the cheapest possible price they can from people who are very getting by
Please pay the prices the locals ask for at the fruit market. It’s disrespectful as you’re the one who travelled to our land. The food quality is 1000% better than in your country so please recognise these things. All the best
Everyone is negotiating on markets. Guys don't get irritated by the comment of Diamia. This is just a person who thinks it is ok to rip off foreigners. Haggling is not disrespectful. Far from it. It is necessary and expected. Don't pay moon prices. DYOR.
