I really love the fact that she's a legit shoe collector that actually uses the shoes. A lot of other collectors don't really use their rare items for fear of having its selling price marked down. And for that I am in awe of her cause it just proves how legit of a shoe enthusiast she is. Anyways, even my bf is envious of her shoe collection lol

Most collectors I know, including myself 😅, wear them like maybe 80% as long as it doesn't wear out too much. They don't mind the price going down because they don't intend to sell them for profit. Some sneakerheads 'collect' them but they are more like resellers than collectors. Like Ed Sheeran, being a collector himself, said in an interview, shoes are meant to be worn. It doesn't make sense just to keep it. "It's like having good wine and not drinking it."
