you are definitely the best teacher. Everything is explained so preciously and simply. Finally learning the darabuka becomes a possible reality. Keep up the posts . Thanks
Thanks brother! After years of playing Darbuka Like A Djembe or Drumset, here I finally get to know the real stuff! They're my first Darbuka videos and totally worth the yelow wall! Like your compositions and the ease you've put into the teachings! I get it all!
I am practicing with you and am with you up until your crazy ass solo... man why you kill my hopes and dreams?!?!!?!!! I need those letters to follow along man :)
Karol - thanks so much for your lessons - I played darbuka some time back and want to start again - much of it came back to me watching your videos - Aloha from Honolulu, and thanks again!
Thank you so much for your lessons. They are wonderful. I was just a little surprised that you expected us to play the second part of your solo after three lessons. I certainly could not do that and I practiced ;-) At least something to look forward to.
Dear Mr Karol, thank you for the tutorials and I m trying out the rhythms one by one. I'm a slow learner and confuse my hand and fingers to catch up with the timing when you play fast. Appreciating you, this splendid instrument the Darbuka and all the players of this traditional instrument. Thank you
@Sarsoura48 Yes, I agree, the lesson is very good, but it's not too dificult, you need to practise it every day, with patience, then will be better ;) Believe me, it's similar like playing castanets for flamenco ;)
I love your videos. They are wesome. is it possible to have a transcription of the solo you do at the end ? When you write in the yellow screen DT tkTD T ....it is so helpful.
Thank you very much for your videos! I started playing a aluminum Darbuka and I was wondering if it is more complicated than the round one. I think is harder to make T and K sounds. Thank you again !
Thank you so much for your fabulous work. Your videos have helped my brother and me to play together and enjoy learning your lessons. Please continue and if there is anything we can do to give back, let me know (maybe you´d like to get a free copy of my negotiation book). Gratefully yours, Amin
Thanks so much. I mastered the first 2 lessons before this. can't seem to get past this lesson . my fingers are short and don't put enough force in fingers. any tips?
