In this one she walked and went down three steps while singing and controlling Edna. It wasn't a staircase and she was wearing flats but still, there was plenty that could have gone wrong. And yet, regardless of the pressure of the moment, Darci has such stage presence she puts everyone watching her at ease, you don't worry over whether she's going to hit the high note, you just want to find out what she's going to do next.

Michael Cohen . I read a man’s comments about an interview she did. She said the original plan was to get Simon to come up on stage with her. But she said at the last minute the producers said no no no that won’t work, can you walk down to him Darci? She said that freaked her out, Saying she only had one time to practise it, and then to walk down for real she said it was the scariest thing she’s ever done. But being the little professional she is, she pulled it off brilliantly.
That was brilliant! I loved her from the first audition, but since then she's gotten better and beteer with each performance. She stepped it up big time with this one. And did you see how red Simon got? That was so worth watching him squirm.
There are some fantastic talent in this contest, Angelica, Mandy etc but this girl is one in 10 million. Totally unique and super skilled. This girl has to be one of the very top favourites, Simon is right she is going to the very top of the entertainment industry. I can see her having her own Saturday night show, and the very top celebrities former a queue to be on it. It used to be you had made it when you got on the Muppets Show, tomorrow it will be the Darci Lynne Show.
In every generation there is always an exceptional talent that is born in this world...if there was a Bruce lee in martial arts, a Michael Jordan in basketball, I can say with all confidence that there is a Darcy Lynne in ventriloquism...and best of all, she is just 12 y/o and will definitely get even more better at it, wow....I can't wait when that time comes...Pls vote for her coz She deserves it...cheers *-*
I love Darci WAY to much haha. My sister and I both agree she needs to win. It's hard because I love SOOOOOOOOO many people this season, but she is defiantly at the top.
Of course there is talent but talents that you already know for centuries, singers, dogs show, magic shows, singing, people who compose, dance, some of these things we have seen before but Darci Lynne comes to finish with his talent never before seen deserving to win
Bukola, I can barely enunciate my words with my mouth OPEN !! How does Darci sing with her mouth closed? How does she do that? And she has a different voice and cadence for each puppet !!! It is AMAZING!! She is quite the little star isn't she? You know I'm in love with Angelica but Darci is not fooling around. She can win this thing.
Darci has been getting better and better! What will she do in the finals! My question is, how she lights up a stage with her mouth closed! I wish the adults in this country would do the same!
Awesome!!! I have to say that i don't want to choose a winner between all the little Muffins. All i can say is, that I hope, who ever wins AGT, that all the little Muffins will make there way and that we all can see much more of them.
My Kola's little muffin Darci sleighs again! They all stepped up to the plate for the semi. Then there was Darci Lynne. On a whole other level. Our little muffin was in a class of her own!!! Great comedic timing. Being able to make each other puppet talk and sing in completely different voices. All with her mouth shut! And only just picked ventriloquism up 2 years ago. It's incredible in such a short time. Terry Fator who won AGT all those years ago, and who headlines at the Mirage in Las Vegas. Said when he Auditioned. That he'd been doing it for 25 years. Getting this good in just 2 years! That's what makes Darci so great! Most definitely the favourite from this Semifinal. I'm also anticipating a great performance from our other little muffin Angelica in the other semi. By the way, great reaction kola 😚😚😚😚😚
ibukola Yeah! I know! That was my reaction when I saw that. That's what she said in her Audition intro, before coming on stage. Besides she said that in one of her interviews before appearing on AGT. Can't remember the which interview. That's what makes her so incredible. The fact that she only started learning ventriloquism 2 years ago. Speak about having a natural ability. My God!!!! She said that she heard some woman Ventriloquist. And decided that she wanted to learn that, and begged her mother for a puppet. Finally got one on her 10th birthday. Got tips and lessons from that woman Ventriloquist. She was a shy little girl, and wanted to learn this to help bring her out of her shell. Well it's certainly worked! You wouldn't think that after seeing her on stage. You need to check out Terry Fator who's headlining the Mirage in Las Vegas. Check out Terry Fator as Michael Jackson, and Terry Fator and Elvis. Robertson Thirdly Actually, I have seen his AGT performances. He was brilliant. Totally deserved to win. I know that his shows in Vegas are sell outs. That's why his contract was extended. The clips of his Vegas show are incredible.
ibukola , please replay and watch the video again . this time watch the reaction of the audience , especially those close to Simon ( front row) watch their reaction when Darci bought "Edna" down from the stage and put her right next to him ..then watch when she hits that high note . It blows not only Simon but the audience away .. and i have been told that no performer has made Simon Cowell blush like a tomato in the whole history of A G T . This is why this young girl is making a lot of people love her . She's doing all the little things right . most people don't realize how hard it is to walk..stay in character(voice) and do ventriloquism ..if you watch Jeff Dunham or Terry Fator ..they very seldom if ever walk with a puppet and talk ..they don't talk until they set the puppet down . She has well over 200 million hits on the internet and people not only here in this country but in other countries are noticing this girl as well ..we are seeing a super star born right in front of us
Darcy is at the top I don't see how she does what she does and keeps her mouth shut and she can hit the high notes and low notes and all like that too with her mouth shut and just smiling
Totally agree and she is amazing. I am amazed the way she timed Edna leaning on Simon when she sang "I wanna be close to you". I don't know if that was planned, but I feel that was pretty cool and made Darci's performance a step above.
During the first minute when you were saying "how how how" to the first few lines of her singing, it made me smile - because I knew that was nothing compared to the big notes she'd soon hit - and how your mind would be blown! This was the best of all her AGT performances. And damn, you're beautiful. just btw.
Darci Lynne is the bookies favorite 4/5 . Talented way beyond her age. I can picture the other acts seeing her performing, thinking OMG and in awe of her talent.
ibukola after seeing her semi final performance Preacher Lawson said it's Darci Lynne to win and the rest of us to fight for 2nd and after this performance I would have to agree. All I can say is "WOW" and "Incredible" and "Simply Brilliant"

I PERSONALLY don't think that there is one single question who is going to the finals. Darcy had no serious competition, is was a quiet tonight. All my votes for her. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Now, NEXT WEEK, hell is going to break lose but is it going to rain HALE to put it out in a heart beat. i really, really hope that Angelica and Darcy are the finalists, and there is a tie!!!

Now I am a fan of Darci, I watch her performances on RU-vid again and again. A number of weeks ago I watched this reaction of you, too. But now I know every sound and move Darci makes during her serenade to Simon, I can watch the reaction on your face to what I know is coming all the time. I love how enthousiastic you are of her singing with closed mouth. And I agree very much how you mentioned Darci´s able to let Edna sing passionately, while she herself seems detached, while she´s doing the singing. Your reaction makes me enjoy Darci even more. Darci is simply a class of her own, so multi talented and so professional, Watch her when she gets two of her teachers on stage at a school event and gives them new voices, hilarious. Whilst talking about "Little Muffins" as you sweetly call them, Not singing this one but watch Steve Harvey with the 7 year old football wonder Ariana Dos Santos. When she dissolves he is lost as to what to do and the whole audience melts completely. There are 2 of him with her, one where he plays football with her on stage but the interview is the killer.

Darci is the best on the show. I love Angelica Hale, Celine Tam, Christian Guardino and Colin Cloud; but Darci is the best. I think she will win this year.

I have always thought from the beginning that this contest will have both Darci Lynne and Angelica Hale with possibly Celine Tam in the finals. This is what I call the Little Girl Diva Squad, whom you call the Little Muffins. Whatever they are called, they are awe-inspiring!
If you look through her pre-AGT videos you will see she has an amazing voice all on its own! and she is a very capable gymnast. I am sure she planned to go down to Simon - but you also have to react in the moment -and she has the state presence for that. Somewhere I saw a picture of her (younger) sitting with a puppet and a mirror! practising.
Her best performance, she was hands down #Stunning. She kept the best for the End. She is 12 and amazing. the changing voices is incredibly difficulty and she did it FLAWLESSLY. Any other result it would be fixed even Angelica, who BTW is Incredible. For Darcie IS THE WINNER .Greece says hello xoxo
