To celebrate the 550th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus Polish Cultural Institute New York together with Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design organized an educational project inspired by the Copernicus' discovery.
On November 17, 2023 the students from the Williamsburg Architecture and Design High School joined by P.S. 175 from Queens met with a former NASA astronaut, Colonel George D. Zamka. He discussed his time at the international space station and his overall experience as a astronaut. He also focused on the subject of design and how it impacts life conditions in Space.
The film is a video recording of that meeting.
