@@lemon4087 - And it probably didn't have spaces between the names or some other failure to clearly indicate word breaks. Several of them had a sound from a later name tacked on to the first, leaving the next word shortened. Like Allison Nicole became Allisinnuh Cole

Yeah. I realized to my amusement that it would have been a blast to see their reaction to Loreen's performance from that same year. Love both performances, by the way, so no criticism. It is just seeing them in these bits can probably be... something to try to wrap your mind around.

Apparently the names were spelled phonetically on the card, not sure if they weren’t spelled right or if the announcer didn’t know how to read phonetics 😂

I understand the show couldn't do it because of logistical reasons, but it is a shame they didn't show the actual footage from Bambi Thug's performance in the competition as that video was tame compared to it. Also it was genuinely amazing. Also it actually made me grin how quickly the audience seemed to get into Croatia's song.

On mother's day I texted my siblings and said "I'm lucky that I got such great siblings and that's one thing that [mother] did right, so I don't care that it's her birthday but I don't want to be the only one that didn't text her" and my brother wrote back "I did text her but I didn't say 'happy mother's day'" followed by "oh shit, it's her birthday too?!" Eurovision is just crazy. But if you are really really drunk it is so much fun. Best moment I watched once was when the german song "I don't feel hate" played and one of the dancers was in a costume and was supposed to show a peace sign. Funny thing while she was dancing she often formed a "middle finger" .
