Could we get a video of how Molly packs her park bag? Really curious how her rain jacket fits with all the other stuff she must have to bring with her.
My family saw Molly as she was getting off Splash Mountain and we were getting on via the DAS side. She was SO KIND to say a quick hello before we got on the ride! As always, we love Molly and the Mammoth Club!!!
I was coming here to comment the same things! I want the down and dirty of the best places and times for the instagram worthy photos....specifically best time to get pictures of my Disney bound in front of the tangled bathrooms😂.
@@haleybohn2969 We rope dropped the tangled bathrooms and I got some amazing photos of my 6 year old in her Rapunzel dress with NO ONE in the back ground! Lighting wasn't perfect as the sun was in her eyes by the wanted poster but she had a little pascal and a mini frying pan! It was perfection!
What I'd like to see would be you & Alan do a staycation at a Deluxe resort for an extra evening hours video at Magic Kingdom. Are the lines really that much lower?
I second Megan’s comment, I loved MK extra evening hours, but didn’t enjoy Epcot’s quite as much. The only food place that’s still open during those hours was Yorkshire County Fish Shop 😅 (confirmed this with a CM on site) I had already been walking a ton that night and really didn’t feel like walking all the way back to England. For reference I was there on 8/29 during very low crowds. If you go during a busier time they might have more food places open.
@@mzpbnj8812 no :( only certain rides are open. Including: beauty and the beast sing along, frozen ever after, gran fiesta tour, guardians of the galaxy, mission space, remy, soarin, spaceship earth, test track, and Nemo. So it’s worth it to not wait in long lines but definitely dont go hungry! I was 7 months pregnant and excited to eat around the world so I was pretty sour that I couldn’t really ride anything and I couldn’t eat 😂
@@megand5816 That's not a problem for us because we don't eat that late. But we like the shops in the World Showcase. That's pretty much all we go to Epcot for.
Hey, Molly! Going to Disney for the longest stay yet- about 8 days. It’s going to allow us to have a couple non-park days to rest and “luxuriate.” Can you do a video about how to have a relaxing but still eventful day outside of the park? Perhaps some Disney Springs, resort hopping, and/or some non-park Disney activities? Thanks for your videos! They’re such a joy to watch 😊
If you really want to luxuriate, book a reservation at one of the spas on property. But you can go onto Disney's website to see all the things you can do on nonpark days. You'd be amazed how many things there are! My kiddo did archery lessons at Ft Wilderness. Do the nighttime safari (with night vision goggles) at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Take a 2-hour tour of the wilderness at Ft Wilderness (on a Segway!). Rent a boat at one of the resorts that are on the water. Go bass fishing. OMG, there's SO much to do that doesn't involve going to a park! And that's not even including all the stuff you can do at Disney Springs like bowling, dinner & a movie (eat while you watch the movie), Cirque de Soleil, amphicars, the Aerophile balloon. You could seriously go to Disney and not spend a single day in a park and be busy every day.
The first day of vacation, I'm like the little kid in the WDW commercial "We're too excited to sleep!", but by day 3 I do sleep in so this is perfect. Thanks Molly!
We totally do this! We used the extra half hour on the first day, took a mandatory rest, then enjoyed extended evening hours at Epcot. It was a magical day! However, by day 3, we slept in, swam, and ate lunch in the villa before heading to Magic Kingdom and closing it down late. #OwnYourVacay
This is how we did our trip mid-Sept. After the 6 year old couldn’t hang for MK fireworks the first day, I knew I needed to change the game plan. We showed up around noon each day for Epcot, MK, Hollywood and it worked out really well. We got on all the big rides and filled in with our other higher priorities using genie + and paying for fancy rides. That’s the way we’ll go now. Easy morning with breakfast and playing in the pool, then the park.
Getting to see how enjoyable an afternoon can be is very comforting. I always do open to close, because I’m insane like that, but this just shows a later start can still lead to an awesome day. I have to agree that we need a Panda Mei meet and greet!!! She would be the snuggliest character to give hugs to.
I saw Molly in the line for Peter Pan, this day. She was so sweet and waved back at me when I completely got so excited to see my favourite blogger. Totally made my whole day. Thanks so much Molly for being you 😍
My favorite version of Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow is NOW the Molly version 👏👏👏 Also I LOVE the idea of a Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress facts video!!! It is one of my absolute favorite attractions and my whole family loves it too, from 7 to 40 years old! With a full length chorus of Mollys rendition of Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow please, that is a BOP!!!
Space mtn is far and away my fav ride. mostly nostalgia. I dragged my dad on it before he passed away and he cussed me out the entire climb up that initial hill thinking the ride would be intense. When we got off he was like Hey that wasnt bad, i loved it!!!
My favourite Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow is the Ragtime version with the banjos! And no matter how many times in my life I've been on Main Street, if you're people watching and I'm there it WILL be me who is the person who trips on the tracks.
I like the concept of waking up late and leisurely strolling into the park in the afternoon, but I LOVE how the park feels and looks in the morning too much. The weather is fantastic, everything is pristine, and everyone still smells great 😂 Pandora is absolutely breathtaking in the morning sun. And very low crowds (if you can ignore the Flight of Passage line) which is great for taking pictures.
Being an AP Florida resident, we only go to the parks midday now.😂 We call it the Disney Senior Plan! Great ideas Molly thanks! We will watch any video your little heart wants to put out there. You’re the best!🥰
Molly calls CoP and TTA (ok, Peoplemover) filler rides, and I call them must-dos! ❤ And, yes the ending version of "Great Big Beautiful Tm" is the best! ☺
I love the morning, afternoon and evening ideas in each park! that sounds interesting. I mean, I've never slept in for Disney trip, but if I were to stay for a week or so, I definitely would.
Loved this video! I refuse to get up early on vacation, so this is my kind of park visit. Doing the other three parks in the afternoon is a great idea for other videos, plus I like when the videos are more like 30 minutes in length 😉. I was glad that Splash treated you well and you didn’t get soaked…. you have to admit that it has some catchy tunes lol
That little aside about you being evacuted on Splash Mountain made me realize I would love a video with stories/videos of when you guys were stuck on rides and what happened/what Disney does in that case. It's a pretty fascinating peak behind the curtain that I've loved since I got stuck on Indiana Jones in Disneyland and I got to see the giant boulder spinning above me when I got evacuated. 😂
Is it strange that (now) when I hear the words "Peter Pan" a little voice pops into my head saying "Poor Nana! Poor Nana? Poor father!" And, of course, in a British accent. I would love to see a video about Carousel of Progress!
All your "filler" rides are all my favorite attractions and would choose them over the big thrill rides. Carousal of Progress is my fav! I'm also the person who could ride It's a Small World all day long!!
We did this last Saturday - didn’t get to the park until after 6pm, and we learned a very important lesson. No matter how well you plan, things will go wrong. The benefit of going to the park early is that you have more time to recoup from setback. The later you go, the less time you have. We had mansion, jungle cruise, pirates, seven dwarfs (fancy) and space mountain booked and ready to go! Then we did mansion, went to jungle (which was closed, so we were issued an anytime return for)… had a dole whip, watched the fireworks from Adventureland, and then got stuck on pirates for an hour and a half, evacuated, and were only able to race to seven dwarfs and space mountain before the park closed lol we still had a fantastic time, but it was a bummer to miss out on all of the other rides we wanted to do.
I can't thank you enough Molly. We just returned from our family vacation with our 3 year of grandson. I've been watching your videos this past year and you gave me the tools so I could plan our daily trips to the various parks. On top of that, you are just plain entertaining, funny and engaging. I'm so glad you decided to bet on yourself/yourselves to start Mammoth club. Even though our trip is over, I will still watch your videos and support the channel.
Rope drop used to really matter 5-10 years ago when not everyone did it. Now that advice has become so ubiquitous that the park is super crowded first thing in the morning.
Your videos helped make my birthday trip to Disney World and Grand Slam! You were very thorough and the tips you gave on mastering Genie+ was primo! I fiddle faddled and stacked rides and it was allll good! I went in ready and I can't thank you enough.
I cannot wait - we booked our ultimate WDW trip for 12/4/23 - 12/21/23 - we start at Universal for 3 days then POP Century for 4 days, Animal Kingdom for 2 days (Savanah view) and end at Magic Kingdom for 4 days. My husband has never been and it’s been 14 years since I’ve been. We go to Disneyland all the times as we are west coast so very excited. Love your vids. Gives me tips and makes me even more excited.
Yes!! I would love another video about fun facts for Magic Kingdom. CoP is my husband's favorite ride in MK. I would love to surprise him with fun trivia about it on our next trip. Thank you for the great videos, MAM Fam! ♥️
Molly I just have to thank you so much! I’ve watched all your videos for the last couple months to plan a surprise first time Disney world visit for our 6 year old daughter. Thanks to you and all your advice, tips and tricks, we barely waited in any lines, hit almost every ride in every park, ate some amazing food, saw some great shows and even my husband (who is not a huge Disney fan) said it was a perfect trip. We’ll have these memories for a lifetime - thank you thank you thank you!
As the parent of kids who take afternoon naps, an evening series would be super useful! And videos that breakdown the parks into smaller chunks of time are helpful for families, because little kids just don't have the stamina to go all day. Or at least, mine don't! Also, one area that I haven't seen you delve into much is ways to do the parks that balance small children desires and adult desires. For example, I was recently at MK and wanted to do Big Thunder, Splash, Pirates, and Haunted, since that's most efficient, but my kids are either too small or too scared for all of those rides. What advice would you give and/or, how would you organize a park day (half a day, really, with naps), so that adults get to ride rides, and kids also ride rides and stay entertained?
I would ❤ to see a video on an evening in the Magic Kingdom. Your tips and tricks for coming after work would be most appreciated. On a side note, I love your videos. Your enthusiasm, relatability, fun facts and reactions are fabulous. Thank you! 🎉
Screencasting what you're doing on the app and how you're using it (12:40) is sooo much clearer I think. I must be dumb but showing in real situation VS telling is so much clearer and simpler.
As someone who lives on the west coast, I really appreciate these because it is almost impossible to be there for rope drop when 7 am is really 4 am for you! Would love to see you start at noon(ish) and then go until closing to see how many rides are doable. Tickets are not cheap and it's hard to get your money's worth starting in the afternoon!
This was so helpful Molly!! We are leaving tonight for our trip and I love having more options than the rope dropping stampede. Thanks for the guidance over the last year while I planned this week for my family. You are the best!
This was great, thank you! Would love one for Epcot with a 1pm arrival. How to navigate Guardians/Frozen/Remy. Fitting a little Via Napoli in there too. Thanks!
We saw Molly just after COP and she was kind enough to say hi and have a picture which made my day😊🙏. We love all your content, it’s so joyful and feel like Molly is a virtual friend 😂 x
My very first time in MK, I’m standing on Main Street taking everything in( just turned 35 and couldn’t be more excited) and the lady in front of me trips on the trolley tracks. She catches herself and I breath a sigh of relief that she didn’t fall, she turns to tell her husband to be careful and proceeds to trip on the other side of the tracks. Face planted it, stopped to check on her and was impressed with how quickly the cast members stepped in to help. I may be a jerk but after she was all right, I couldn’t help chuckle with my husband. Lesson learned, watch the tracks on Main Street and don’t worry about your husband, every man for themselves 😂😜
I love a good MK rope drop morning, however I would totally spend a morning enjoying the resort pool, then hopping over in the afternoon for some lightning lanes. Whoot!
This was so helpful! We used this plan last Friday, mostly because we had MNSSHP tickets and knew it was going to be a long day. I feel like I got more use out of Genie + this way than ever before!!! We rode 13 rides!
Would love to see Team Mammoth have a competitive mini golf at Fantasia Gardens and then head in for an afternoon or evening at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios!
I have a challenge for you. You and Alan (or Max)have to ride all the roller coasters if you can keep quiet $5 goes into your gift fund if you scream $5 goes into Alan’s gift fund. Once you have riden all of them Alan has to buy you a gift with the no scream fund and you have to buy him a gift with the scream fund.
Molly! My husband and I love watching your channel! I'm a huge transformer collector and there's a company called Robosen that made an auto converting/app controlled/voice activated Optimus Prime. Recently they released a new figure for pre-order and when I saw it, it made me think of you and I just had to share! I highly recommend doing a search for Robosen and looking into there recent pre-order! You may or may not be very interested. Just wanted to share this with you in hopes that it may bring you some joy! Keep making content, always enjoy seeing what's next!!!
Hi Molly - love this video! Afternoon ones in each of the other parks would be great and so would evening ones in all the parks too - keep up the great work! 😊
Thank you for the wonderful videos. I learn so much about making my Disney trips more enjoyable and packed with fun! Loved this one. I am a firm believer in getting there at rope drop for every park day, but my family isn't so enthusiastic about the early wake-up on vacation! This was great to see. Molly, I sincerely appreciate how much you love Disney and how much info you share! Keep the good stuff coming!
My family rode Peter Pans Flight for the first time back in June. We did two days at Magic Kingdom and decided to skip the fireworks on our second night. Both days we were at Magic Kingdom, the wait time was 80 minutes. We waited until the fireworks started and were able to walk right onto Peter Pans Flight with no wait since almost everyone else was either on Main street or in front of the castle watching the fireworks. It was such a cute and fun ride. I so wish I was there right now but since I am not, I will enjoy your video and pretend I am riding along side of you. ❤❤
Could you do a step by step early morning video. The purchasing of Genie+ for the day, how to purchase an ILL, then booking your first LL for the day? I know there are many videos on this, but with all the updates to Genie+, all the other videos seem outdated.
So happy to see Molly doing well and with her own YT channel now. I've always enjoyed her videos. I recently realized she'd moved on from allears. After some searching I've found her new channel. 😊
Molly! Your tips on genie + SAVED my trip last week!! Thank you for all the help! Also, I saw you at the Grand Floridian! I wanted to say hi, but you were BOOKING it, girl 😂😂😂
Love that enjoy Carousel so much Molly! Looking forward to this more than anything for my first MK trip, as it was my Grandma’s favorite ride when we first went to DL in the 60’s, and through most of the 70s. Can’t wait. As a DL-goer, looking forward to seeing the other things I’ve missed for so long. Seems like an afternoon in a non-peak time is possible… Thx!
So helpful! I always sleep in especially since I live on the west coast and the time change throws me off. Molly your videos are the best! Love all the content but especially the history ones. Yes to all of them!!!’
Thank you for showing realistic ways to make an overwhelming park totally manageable !! The first time I went to MK as an adult I was so underprepared and thus, very overwhelmed lol
I loved this video!!!So different from the normal how to rope drop and can’t wait to try it on my next trip. Can tell how much molly knows and loves magic kingdom. Can’t wait to see more from this series. Keep it up busy ur smashing it! 😍🦣
Remember when you could see the glow in the dark ride vehicles when you were waiting cue. They also showed more stars on the ceiling. This was before they made it into a space port and blocked the view. It also made the People mover less exciting going through space mountain. I liked how it was when it was like that. Who else remembers this and liked it better the old version?
I’m an early bird my husband‘s loves to sleep in when we are on vacation. Our favorite park together is Epcot. I don’t go for the rides it’s nice to have one or two in our day. The last time in Epcot the new Paris ride ratatouille was open. I just took a peek at the fountain , and took a few pictures of that area, and we left. We not interested in standing in long lines. Sometimes it’s just enjoying your family at the Epcot’s environment. Thank you Molly
Love your videos Molly!!! You keep us updated on all the changes, and it's very much appreciated!! I'll be going to Disney in 3 weeks, and I think I'll do much better with Genie+ this year than I did last year, thanks to your awesome tips!!
