Hi Caroline, yes your Mom is great! I went high school with her. We have kept in touch over the years. I saw you last when you went to school with my daughter in Thika:)
I saw this on RU-vid today and forwarded it to Grace the owner of the cafe inside the Luton market mall. I occasionally take my family there for ugali served with fish, coleslaw & greens while I have delicious lamb stew and ugali served with a tiny bed of greens. Alex Chamwada, it’s okay to use knife and a fork, I use it too 😊
This is the best media I can say so far ,am always inspired Alex big up be blessed always ,and congratulations for the Moran burning spear for spreading positivity of our great nation
Many thanks Chamwada for your good work you deserve the medal. Twaingoja hiyo barabara kwa hamu na gamu. The area has great potential. Leaders of the area need to wake up quickly.
No need to apologise for using irons to eat your food, Chams. Not all Kenyans use bare hands to eat Matumbo. Kenya is a diverse country. Thank you for representing those of us who do not follow that 'Kenyan tradition.'
It’s just crazy how Twala is so close to Nairobi cbd but pathetic road. This has forced me to leave my beautiful home in Twala and come back to Kileleshwa to rent again coz of this bad road
The blame on the poor infrastructure squarely falls in the court of the county government of kajiado and it's top leadership. They have not taken any serious interest in making sure that their roads are done. They don't understand that the more the people settle in your county, the more revenue and business the county enjoys. They have learnt nothing from machakos , kiambu and nakuru counties which are trying everything possible to attract investors and residents. In kajiado they see more people as foreign votes and intention to tilt politics and not the economy of the county. They are a leadership that discouraged subdivision of land to small portions that would have attracted more people and as such raised the value and prices of their land. This made the locals sell their large parcels of land at very low prices. Basically their leadership deprived it's own people access to suitable market determination of price by insinuating agricultural land when kiambu that has more rain is gaining premium value for land. They will keep infrastructure poor to keep away people but unfortunately by the time they realize what happened most of the land will have gone to other people who will subdivide later and sell at premium prices. Kiambu has done over 600km tarmac roads in the current government. This is typical of distance from Nairobi to malindi via Mombasa. If this was kajiado, kajiado would be paradise for settling all brains. Kajiado has the greatest potential to benefit from Nairobi from industries, tourism and hospitality, hospitals , hospices, consumer intensive agriculture, etc. It's roads roads to tuala - athi river, corner baridi - champagne range - kajiado , ngong- saikeri - n ' galodge - kisamis-kimuka etc that will change the economy of kajiado and make kajiado a paradise and not the diaspora.
Some citizens purchased land along this road some 4 or so kilometres from the junction to Kitengela. This was back in the 2000's. Unfortunately, some other 'Maasai' invaded their plots and chased the owners away. The case is still being considered by the Mavoko authorities. A real let down for those who desired to build up the place.
My father and a group bought of 60 bought 5 acres each in Kitengela and halfway through the transaction a similar thing happened. Am talking many years ago.
Spot on..Its the Government's responsibility to build roads alongside other supporting infrastructure for business to thrive-Hakuna cha 'kuomba serikali',ni jukumu lao kwa kuwa wakenya ndani na nje ya nchi ni walipa ushuru.
The man 5:41 is really a local....how can he compare such a small area with Somali and Ethiopia.... Sorry to say and he is a big man with nothing in his head 🗣️
