Awesome! Im so glad soosoo and other companies are giving Daredevil some love! And yes he did have the rope wraps in his hallway fight in season 1!

I always liked the black costume that Daredevil wore in season one more than the actual Daredevil suit itself. It was so simple yet so sleek ans effective

I don't own it, but from what I've seen I think I prefer the SooSoo Toys costume design (and the figure overall) a bit more. However, I like the dirt/weathering on this figure. Those bare hands look very cheap, and also, to me, there's something off about the neck sculpt.

He had the ropes like that in the first hallway fight. In season 3 there were more ropes. It was bulky and messy

I only own the Hot Toys, and always wanted the SooSooToys Hero Lawyer for how it nailed the civilian Matt Murdock look, but I personally felt their Blind Vigilante release didn't beat the Hot Heart Mr. Matt (moreso the 1.0 version compared to this 2.0 reissue) when it came to the best black suit figure. This review proves they are more neck and neck than I thought. While I wouldn't know for sure unless I owned them all myself, I think I still prefer Hot Heart's Mr. Matt overall despite the flaws - but I would love to see an improved hybrid made from the best parts of the SooSooToys releases (the Hero Lawyer head with the Blind Vigilante boots, interchangeable hands/ropes, and perhaps the clubs too). Excellent video!

Stumbled across your channel through recommendations and watched your review on the SooSoo Hero Lawyer 2.0, which convinced me to go searching for him and their Fisk. I love Daredevil and have the Hot Toys version along with Punisher. I just got this figure today and was surprised that it was the 1.0 version. No dirt and maybe the head sculpts are slightly different, but I think everything else is the same. Came back here to check though.

I like the body proportion but not that red detail on shirt. The soosootoys version it’s the best to me except the head sculpt attachments making it feel to low on the body. I hope soosootoys makes a 2.0 version with that issue corrected.

Totally agree from some angles I can see Charlie cox from other angles not so much. Just my opinion I think the paint application on the head made him look a little cartoonish almost like an animated version. Great review Justin loving the channel.

This is a good figure very Netflix accurate and soosoo toys put their foot in this item .

The whole time I was thinking I wonder if I combine parts of the two and then you said it. Does head swapping work? I kinda prefer the sculpt of the Soosoo masked head.

Great reviews, Justin 😁. I'd give it back tho. Such a shame because Charlie's Daredevil is (to me) the best Marvel character and I love the fact that companies are making DD figures. You can put the mask on top of the plastic mask sculpt because it looks like the shape of a skull 💀

I do see Charlie Cox in the head sculpt but I think the culprit is the pupils look too big and it makes him look kinda cartoonish

Thanks for the review, and for saving me some money. I had the soosootoys black suit daredevil. I liked all of it but hated the body, single bend elbows sucked and I promptly sold it. figures with clothes covering the arms need to be using double bend elbow bodies, or they are trash to me. Now this has the same problem. why do third party companies decide to use the TRASH single bend bodies? 2 of my third party figures (SW Toys Lara Croft from Tomb Raider and LIM Toys Quiet from MGS5) had TBLeague bodies. But at BARE MINIMUM these fools should include a double jointed body, NOT the cheapest, most garbage body available like what SooSooToys is currently using for their figures, and what this one is using. And yes, I know a body swap is possible, but you shouldn't have to do that yourself! It just makes the whole figure feel like a cheap $30 thrift store toy.

Not a huge fan of daredevil but it is possible I may get this one later on maybe.

SooSoo version is better imo but I do like the scuffed up look the pants have on this one!

This look is from the Hallway fight from Season 1. He used the same ropes that he tied to the child trafficker

The headsculpt kind of looks like a baby. I think it's the eyes? They're too big, as well as the forehead. It kind of has a Jimmy Neutron thing going on

something that bothers me about the figure is that the muay thai wraps starts at his knuckles and then it stops and then it goes on his wrist again then it stops and then it goes on his forearm it just bothers me I think is because I actually do martial arts but besides that I like it

Unfortunately, those hands are very inaccurate. It would have been hard to pull off with twine vs a sculpted fist, but either way, these look nothing like the ropes tied by Muay Thai fighters (and Matt Murdock).
