He seemed all right, but I think it should be a rule now, that no one is allowed to mention the 2003 Daredevil film, any more. I feel like it's brought up every time Charlie is interviewed.
That guy was so grateful for the show to be on tv, and the success of it, ...and that's what's important in the end, making it right for the fans that support everything in the long run, for the last 7 decades!
Charlie is really one amazing guy, and actor. This is how actors used to be, when they actually cared about the work they were doing and the character they were playing! He's so grateful to play this character, but maybe he knows it now, but you can tell he didn't really understand how important Daredevil is to so many people at first, and bringing that favorite comic character to life on the tv, just makes those fans lives so much better, especially when it's done right! He deserves so much more credit not for only Daredevil the character, but holding up all those other shows as well as bringing in new show they never planned for, like The Punisher and eventually The Defenders.
This was a a great interview. It was great to see Elodie so animated. The guy doing the interviewing did a good job in including them both in the conversation. She did a great job as Elektra, although TBH the second half of Season 2 was my least favourite of the the 3 seasons.
It would definitely be great. Though there is a caveat: you shouldn't have too much of a good thing because then the show becomes stagnant. Matt's relationship with Elektra has been a part of his story for most of season 2 and the entirety of The Defenders. It's time for him to get new story material. As much as Elodie Yung is great for the part.
+KK Especially since that's more or less how they're handling Fisk. Fisk is clearly Matt's arch-nemesis in the show, and Vincent D'Onofrio sells the shit out of his performance. Rather than have season 2 be another round of Matt vs. Fisk, they decided to have the storyline of Matt vs. the Punisher and the Hand. But they still gave us a surprise appearance from Fisk in the back part of the season, where we got to see him use Frank as part of a scheme to get rid of Dutton and take over the prison economy, and give him something to start piecing together Matt's secret identity . The surprise appearance worked great: they kept it totally under wraps. No one even thought they'd bring Fisk back because the crews were very good at preventing leaks, plus the marketing was only focused on Frank and Elektra. Having Fisk be mostly absent for season 2 means that the show can go explore some other things in season 2 and The Defenders, then bring him back for season 3.
@@joey_diaz_clips I've never heard about Dare devil before I watched the series few weeks ago, it felt kind of boring in the first season and had me thrilled back again in season 2 as I saw punisher in there. But it was even better when Electra appeared in 4th episode as I remember specially when she turns out to be Mats ex girlfriend. Electra's dead in season 2 is the only reason that I watched the defenders since her death stinked too much in the heart. She's my personal favorite female MCU character now and was damn hard to manage whole season 3 with her loss. ( I was expecting atleast a post credit scene with Electra ) Marvel's decisions on casting Charlie and Elodie was spot on. Marvelous stuff.
@@teovokes4901 ahh but that's the beauty of being in between. I had an Aussie friend who still had an Aussie accent to me but when he went home after several years in the states his family complained about him gaining an American accent
They really fixed Elektra and especially Bullseye...God he was so fucking cheesy in the movie with Affleck, even in the comics, what a lame ass super power but they made it work because they made everything work in this show. At 24:40 the fan had already foreseen the end of their show when he asked the question :(
@@Juan-zl3fy It drives me insane. The actors do their best to seem like they have genuine answers, but ultimately, it's just a job. They didn't have any particular concern for Marvel Comics before they got the job, and people need to stop acting like they're supposed to be fans of the source material.
