what i learnt from this game: "counter" not only ends with the word "spell". but seriously, that was a sick brown game, i never really have been interested in artifacts, but damn they can give some entertainment.

Oh yeah, Vorel can get out of hand. Last time I played my Vorel deck, I swung with a Gyre Sage for 337 damage the turn after I played it.

Great game, lots going on, and a good cariation of decks. Loved seeing the Daretti emblem come out, shame you didn't hit much until the spine... but the priest / Spine interaction might be something I use in Breya, nice one Kai.

You might get these questions alot but How many decks do you have? do get copy of same cards or do you unsleeve and resleevd swapping cards around? The thought of re/unsleeve seems like a drag and can cause damage to expensive cards but doing it is really quick and easy... Idk why i have this feeling swapping cards around in edh is frowned upon and or dragful if you own mutiple ones

1. I currently have 13 decks sleeved. I am planning on taking some apart though since I don't enjoy them. 2. I have several copies of many cards (duals excluded). I am too lazy to resleeve. I even dislike having to flip the two-sided cards to the point where I want to run the check cards.

Possibility Storm- it makes difficult to other players to play the game as they are casting random card, but Mishra will just give "artifact cascade" to his artifacts (storm put it in the deck, then Mishra tutor it to the field)

Diego Catano I know it’s been a few months but basically Mishra combos with a few select enchantments including possibility storm, blood funnel, nether void, and planar chaos. By stacking the triggers you can eliminate the downside of these enchantments.

It's kind of complicated, but I have a Conquering Your Commander on him where I cover what he can do. He can make your artifact spells really difficult to counter, as well as let you tutor for your copies of artifacts if you're able to steal them from an opponent with something like Thada.

Small note: Regenerate taps the creature so Terrastodon shouldn't have been able to attack the turn Wrap in Vigor was cast. No big, just an old rule that doesn't get brought up enough to keep it fresh, haha.

Terastadon didn't actually attack that turn, just Rhonas and the Elephants. We knew about the tap clause, which you can see at 9:49 with the Terastodon being tapped prior to Corey attacking. Sorry if that was unclear!

Mishra is a commander who requires a good control of stack. Have a nasty interaction with cards like Possibility Storm, Nether Void, Planar Chaos, Praetor's grasp, etc.

I questioned it too, there’s cards like Possibility Storm, the way the abilities would stack: with possibility storm and Mishra: you play an artifact, possibility storm makes you play a different artifact in the library instead, possibility storm resolves and the original spell played goes into library, now Mishra triggers, you can play the original spell, now you just did artifact cascade

once mirage mirror is a copy of something, like platinum angel, it loses the ability to copy so can't become a forest .

yes, but it's only until end of the turn, he only transform the mirror in the angel on his turn to attack, but it became a forest in Daretti's turn.

@MTG Muddstah, it's a minor mistake, but actually when you activate Daretti's first ability, as soon as you discard Blightsteel Colosus, you have to shuffle it in your deck BEFORE you draw. That's because it's a replacement effect, and it happens automatically regardless of what's in the stack. In other words, Blightsteel Colosus never really hits the graveyard.

Isn't it a trigger that goes on the stack? If so, you have to resolve Darreti's ability in it's entirety first, meaning you don't stop what you're doing until you're done. That's my understanding of the rule but I'm no judge ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cédrik LeBlanc it is not a trigger. You're confusing it with Kozilek's trigger. In the case of Blightsteel Colosus, it's a replacement effect which replaces the event of it going to the graveyard with it being shuffled instead, and it happens immediately even while the ability is resolving.
