Buff great, Darian Hagan played quarterback at Colorado from 1988 to 1991. As we celebrate Folsom Field's 100th season, Hagan reflects on his time playing in Folsom.
Any footage of those days gives me chills and brings tears to my eyes. Seeing young Darian Hagan, what he meant to us in those championship teams people should never forget. He is a legend.
I've watched Hagan ball since he was 14 playing pee wee for the LA Broncos. Hagan record at Colorado as the starting QB was 28-5-2 (20-0-1 in the Big 8) one natty, finished 5th in the Heisman voting in 1989. Hagan was a helluva athlete. He was also drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 1992. Salute to the East Side Los Angeles native and legend. Thanks for the memories!
I was at CU when he played. That big 8 record was unbelievable, Oklahoma was down those years but Nebraska was very good. He was electric to watch. He was the best QB in Colorado history by miles.
Folsom Field 53,613. Legendary field. Colorado has a great home record. Happy birthday Coach Prime. I remembered watching this game with my father CU 27 & Nubs 24.
