I absolutely agree with you. I don't think people realise that there is a huge market 4 VHS and it's definitely something I'm going to pursue in the future. Of course I am going to be very selective. It's going to have to be movies that I absolutely love and thankfully their next release is going to be the They Live so I think I'll be picking that up. Anything to do with John Carpenter will always peek my interests. I still haven't gotten around to watching Mandy. I really need to remedy that. I heard it's great strange but great. I will definitely be interested. I will be a lot more selective. It would have to be a movie I absolutely love. Apparently there next release is they live. So I think I'll be picking that up

I am not kidding when I read this entire comment it felt like I wrote it if that makes any sense. I absolutely agree with every single thing you said and I love the way you mentioned about going into a video store and renting a movie only because the cover looked good. You never really give a s*** about the synopsis on the back of it. Once the artwork looked good that was the most important thing. I cannot stress to you how much I miss those days. I've said it so many times but VHS was my favourite time as a collector and it always will be. Going in and finding that one rare gem that you never thought you would own on VHS. There was nothing like it. It was like winning the lotto. That's why I was so happy to receive both of these VHS editions of suspiria because I knew they would take me right back and I wish people would understand how much these mean to me. I couldn't agree more with you when it comes to the Resurgence of physical Media. This year has been absolutely astonishing. I actually have a video done for opera. It's a beautiful German release that I got of it. It's great to see Dario Argento getting so much love when it comes to 4K and collector releases

It's definitely up there as one of my favourite Argento movies. It's nice to own such a unique edition for it

The thing is Chris you could almost say the same thing when it comes to vinyl but look how big it is now and they also are very expensive. Much more so than £35. Like I said in the video the company that's bringing these out already done three different variants for Evil Dead 2 on VHS and all three of them sold out. So there is definitely a market out there for these releases and I am definitely interested but only if it's the right movie. I actually watched it on VHS as well and I had a great time. It was like a time machine

There's a market for VHS at the moment. Like I said in the video they've already brought out three variants of Evil Dead 2 on VHS and all three variants sold out and I guarantee you the same will happen with suspiria. I would happily buy a few more depending on the movie

Totally agree. I think you'll find most of your loft tapes worthless. Mine ended up at the local council tip. Some people I know don't even have a bluray player 🙄

Well there's obviously an audience out there because the studios wouldn't be bringing out VHS Editions if there wasn't. I have two players in the house.

@@millerman9991 oh yeah it's the same as 3D blu ray they still keep releasing them despite the fact you can't get 3D TVs anywhere now apart from second hand on Ebay VHS players are the same you can't buy them in stores anymore only second hand online

You should try and treat it like vinyl. That's what vice press are going for. They've already brought over three variants of Evil Dead 2 on VHS and all three of them sold out. There's definitely a market out there for them
